Ghost Mini Pizza

October 28, 2024

Ghost Mini Pizza is a spooky, fun, and totally adorable addition to any Halloween spread. Perfect for parties, movie nights, or festive dinners, these bite-sized pizzas bring a playful touch to the table while still delivering all the cheesy, savory goodness that everyone loves. Their simple ghost-shaped design makes them an instant hit with both kids and adults.

The charm of these mini pizzas is all in the decoration. Each pizza starts with a classic crust base, whether it’s traditional dough, pita, or a flatbread. A layer of rich tomato sauce creates the perfect backdrop for the star of the show: ghost-shaped mozzarella. The melty cheese forms cute little ghost figures that puff slightly in the oven, giving them a soft, ghostly look.

For the faces, olives or small pieces of black olives are the go-to choice to create eyes and spooky mouths. The contrast of the black on white cheese makes the faces pop, adding just the right amount of Halloween flair without any complicated decorating. You can get creative with the expressions, making some ghosts look surprised, others happy, or even spooky.

Ghost Mini Pizza is not just festive, they’re practical, too. They’re easy to assemble, cook quickly, and are the perfect finger food for parties. Plus, you can customize them with your favorite toppings under the cheese if you want to add extra flavor without taking away from the ghost design. Think pepperoni, mushrooms, or even a sprinkle of herbs.

These mini pizzas are a fun way to get everyone involved in the kitchen. Kids especially love placing the cheese ghosts and decorating the faces. Whether you’re serving them as appetizers, snacks, or part of a Halloween meal, Ghost Mini Pizzas combine festive fun with comforting flavors, bringing spooky joy to every bite. Time to impress your guests!

I made them for Halloween and they turned out cute, but I think the oven time needed closer to 15 because the muffins stayed a bit dry at 10. Still good though.

Love this idea for Halloween! Cute ghosts for sure. I usually start checking at 10 too—mine vary depending on how thick the muffin halves are, so 12–15 makes sense. Glad they were still tasty!

I dunno, they look kinda weird to me. Ghosts on pizza? Really? Might be good for kids tho, I guess.

Used cheddar instead of mozzarella because that’s all I had. Still worked, kinda. But not really ghostly.

I think cheddar can be nice too! Just kinda makes it more cheesy and less ghostly, huh? 😂

Looks easy but I don’t have muffin halves… can I use bagels instead? 🤔

Too easy if u ask me. Real pizza needs dough & sauce from scratch! But my niece liked em.

As a non-cook, this was simple enough for me. Can’t mess up pizza, right?
