Why boiling water and then cold water? Feels like overcomplicated chemistry for dessert. I stirred it and it set anyway, so meh.
Tbh I get what you mean, but the boiling water is just to fully dissolve the gelatinâwithout it, you end up with little jell-o bits. Cold water is for getting the temp down so it doesnât mess with the setting time.
I mean if it set after you stirred, you technically did the job đ I always do the hot + cold thoughâless chance of lumpy texture. Dessert science doesnât have to be scary.
