Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rice
  • 2 piece Tomatoes
  • 1 piece Carrots
  • 50 g Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Instructions

  • Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  • In a pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and grated carrot to the pot and sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
  • Stir in the rice and cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing it to absorb the flavors.
  • Add 2 cups of water, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is cooked and water is absorbed.
  • Once the rice is cooked, remove from heat and stir in the grated cheese until melted.
