Ingredients
- 1 g pig feet
- 1 g cabbage
- 1 g potato salad
- 1 g corn bread
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp paprika
- 2 pieces bay leaves
Instructions
- Begin by cleaning the pig feet thoroughly under cold water.
- In a large pot, place the pig feet and cover them with water.
- Add the bay leaves, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika to the pot.
- Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer. Cover the pot and let it cook for about 1.5 to 2 hours until the pig feet are tender.
- While the pig feet are cooking, finely chop the cabbage and set aside.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking the pig feet, add the chopped cabbage to the pot.
- Cook until the cabbage is tender and the pig feet are cooked through.
- Serve the braised pig feet and cabbage with a side of potato salad and warm corn bread.
