A delightful pasta dish featuring shiitake mushrooms, providing a rich, umami flavor that’s perfect for a comforting meal.
Ingredients
- 200 grams Pasta Any type of pasta you prefer
- 150 grams Shiitake mushrooms Sliced thinly
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil Extra virgin
- 3 cloves Garlic Minced
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese Grated
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper Freshly ground
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic to the pan and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the sliced shiitake mushrooms to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, until tender.
- Mix the cooked pasta into the pan with the mushrooms and garlic. Toss well to combine.
- Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top before serving.
