Sausage and Mushroom Breakfast Skillet

April 19, 2024

There’s something comforting about a breakfast skillet sizzling on the stove. The aroma of savory sausage mingling with earthy mushrooms is the kind of smell that draws everyone to the kitchen. A sausage and mushroom breakfast skillet is hearty, flavorful, and perfect for mornings that need a little extra warmth.

This dish is all about simplicity and balance. Sausage brings richness and spice, while mushrooms offer a deep, umami taste that rounds everything out. Whether you’re using mild Italian sausage, spicy chorizo, or a classic breakfast blend, the meat provides a flavorful base that transforms a handful of ingredients into a satisfying meal.

Mushrooms are the unsung heroes of breakfast. Their meaty texture holds up well in a skillet and they absorb all the surrounding flavors beautifully. When paired with sausage, they create a rustic, savory foundation that’s both filling and packed with character.

A good breakfast skillet isn’t just about taste – it’s about how it makes you feel. It’s cozy and nourishing, the kind of breakfast you eat slowly with a hot cup of coffee on the side. It’s ideal for weekends, brunch with friends, or any morning when you want something more special than cereal or toast.

This dish is also highly customizable. Some like to throw in diced potatoes for extra heartiness, others add greens like spinach or kale to bring in freshness. Topping it with eggs or shredded cheese is optional but always welcome. The skillet itself does most of the work, blending flavors together in one pan and making cleanup easy.

Whether you’re feeding a hungry family or making breakfast just for yourself, a sausage and mushroom skillet is a no-fuss way to bring big flavor to the table. It’s a reminder that a good day often begins with a good meal, and sometimes, the best meals are the ones that start in a single, sizzling pan.

I would love the recipe for my breakfast, I know that it will be good and nutritional for me, and, by the way instead of using pork sausage maybe use beef sausage instead.

  2. User avatar Eddie the Computer says:

    5 stars
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about covering it for the cheese. But it actually worked and melted evenly. Next time I’ll use more mushrooms (8 oz seems kinda low).

  3. User avatar ezra.lehner says:

    4 stars
Pretty solid. I think I could’ve browned the sausage a little more and cooked the veggies longer so the moisture really cooks off. Still, the scrambled eggs were nice and fluffy-ish.

  4. User avatar jammie.moore2014 says:

    4 stars
Pretty easy and tasty. I used turkey sausage and it still worked great, though the skillet got a little dry—next time I’ll add a small splash of water or cook the veggies a touch less.

  5. User avatar Whitney Lueilwitz says:

    4 stars
Isn’t bell pepper a fruit??? Anyway, good recipe. Will make again!

    1. User avatar Laree Powlowski says:

      4 stars
Wow, really? I thought they were veggies! Either way, looks yummy! I’ll try it.

    2. User avatar chana.ohara45 says:

      5 stars
Yes, bell peppers are technically fruits! Glad you liked the recipe, it’s one of my favorites too!

  6. 4 stars
This is basically a frittata but faster? I was skeptical but it turned out great. I’ll definitely add hot sauce next time. 👍

  7. User avatar mallie.wyman60 says:

    5 stars
Made this for brunch and it was a hit. The mushrooms really give it that savory, juicy vibe and the cheddar melts perfectly. I used breakfast sausage—still great.

    1. User avatar rena.mclaughlin34 says:

      5 stars
Love this combo—mushrooms + sausage is always a win. 🧡 I also did exactly what you said with cheddar melting over everything… so good!

  8. User avatar angelika.jast says:

    4 stars
The instructions are solid, but 6 eggs felt like a lot for a 12-inch skillet. I ended up with a thinner scramble than expected. Still tasty though, just adjust the pan size.

  9. User avatar oPandariaNo says:

    4 stars
Super easy and honestly tastes like something you’d get at a diner. My only tweak was adding a pinch of red pepper flakes. Yum.

  10. User avatar annabel.fisher80 says:

    3 stars
I used turkey sausage and it tasted a bit dry. Maybe because I cooked it longer than the recipe said. Still edible though.

  11. User avatar wynell.fahey15 says:

    5 stars
This is my go-to breakfast now! So hearty and delicious!

  12. User avatar lyndon.ohara76 says:

    4 stars
Sounds good but 6 eggs seems like a lot for a pound of sausage. I might half it next time, unless serving a crowd.

    1. User avatar rodrick.dooley says:

      5 stars
6 eggs is fine, honestly. Eggs make it fluffier and more filling. I’d even add a lil more cheese and cook the mushrooms longer so they’re not watery.

    2. User avatar jere.schulist52 says:

      4 stars
Yeah, 6 eggs for 1 lb sausage is definitely on the egg-heavy side. I’d half it too unless you’re feeding a bunch—this is basically more like an egg skillet than a sausage skillet. 😄

  13. User avatar stanley.lebsack says:

    5 stars
I’m not a cook but this was simple. I mixed everything once the eggs started setting and it came out like a cheesy scramble. Tastes like diner food!

  14. 5 stars
Yummy! I added some hot sauce and it turned out great. Will make again!

    1. User avatar williams.bergstrom42 says:

      5 stars
Hot sauce? That sounds interesting! I never thought of adding that. Definitely going to try it next time!

  15. User avatar ALTplusF4 says:

    4 stars
I used pre-sliced mushrooms and added garlic later because I forgot. Still tasty, but the garlic flavor was weaker. Chef’s kiss regardless.

  16. User avatar Grandpa Gohan says:

    2 stars
I tried it but my cheese never really melted right—kept clumping. Maybe my cheddar was too old or the heat was too high? Anyway, not bad, just frustrating.

  17. 2 stars
Meh. I cooked it exactly and it just felt like sausage + veggies + eggs. Nothing wrong, but not special enough for the hype.

    1. User avatar kitty.conroy1977 says:

      3 stars
Yeah, I felt that too. It’s hearty, but the “hype” makes it sound more gourmet than just a solid breakfast skillet. Maybe add something like hot sauce or a little extra cheese next time?

    2. 4 stars
Disagree. I made it and it’s def more than “sausage + veggies + eggs.” The mushrooms + pepper/onion really give it that savory depth. Could be your seasoning—salt/pepper/parsley can make or break it.

  18. 4 stars
Quick and easy! I added some spinach and it turned out great. Will make again!

  19. User avatar ALTplusF4 says:

    3 stars
I followed it pretty closely but my eggs ended up a little too dry. Next time I’ll lower the heat and stir less. Still good flavor though.

  20. User avatar dennis.purdy10 says:

    3 stars
I don’t know… It sounds good but I don’t like mushrooms. Can I just leave them out?

    1. User avatar keva.quigley1964 says:

      3 stars
I dunno, isn’t mushrooms like, the main part? What if you put in zucchini instead? But I guess it could work without them.

    2. User avatar Chris Cross says:

      5 stars
You can totally leave out the mushrooms! Just add more bell peppers or something else you like. It’ll still taste great!

  21. User avatar Ilene Left says:

    5 stars
Yummy! This is just like what my grandma used to make. 😍

  22. 5 stars
This was super satisfying and honestly tasted like a diner breakfast. The mushrooms cooked down perfectly and the cheddar melted nicely. Will make again for sure.

    1. 5 stars
Love hearing this! I made it once and it totally did have that diner vibe. The mushroom step is key, glad yours turned out perfect. 😄

    2. 4 stars
Huh, I tried something similar but I felt like my eggs got a little rubbery… maybe I cooked too long. Your description makes me wanna give this exact version another shot.

  23. User avatar smartestRedditor says:

    4 stars
I don’t usually cook but this was easy. Even I can do it. Happy!

    1. 5 stars
That’s awesome! Cooking can be fun and so rewarding. Glad you enjoyed it!

    2. User avatar jefferson.swaniawski82 says:

      3 stars
I dunno, it sounds kinda simple… but good for you for trying! The eggs can be tricky tho.

  24. 4 stars
Super easy and filling. I used turkey sausage and added a pinch of smoked paprika—next time I’ll probably go a bit heavier on the garlic.

    1. User avatar Random Dent says:

      5 stars
Agreed! This is exactly the kind of “weeknight breakfast” I like—filling without being fussy. I also do turkey sausage and it still tastes great. Garlic-forward is the way to go 👌

    2. User avatar rickie.cronin24 says:

      3 stars
Hmm I tried it but mine got a little watery from the mushrooms. I think I should’ve cooked them longer before adding the eggs. Still good though—maybe more garlic and less pepper next time? Also, I didn’t have cheddar so I used mozzarella and it didn’t melt quite the same.

  25. User avatar justina.schuster says:

    5 stars
This is sooo good! Made it for breakfast today and we devoured it! Thanks!

    1. 3 stars
Looks good, but I think adding a few more spices could really boost the flavor. Anyone else feel that way?

    2. User avatar karolyn.lind says:

      5 stars
I tried it too! Best breakfast ever! Shredded cheese makes all the diff.

  26. User avatar Lida Gislason says:

    4 stars
Soo good, but why is there no bacon? Everything is better with bacon! 😋

  27. 3 stars
Not sure about covering the skillet—my cheese got kinda oily and the eggs underneath were overcooked. Could be my pan though. Still edible.

  28. User avatar Dr. Willie Emmerich says:

    5 stars
If you cook the veggies until they release liquid, do it—otherwise the skillet gets watery and the eggs won’t set right. Learned that the hard way 😅

  29. 5 stars
Made this for breakfast this week—so hearty. The mushrooms really up the flavor and the cheddar melts perfectly. Would 100% make again!

  30. User avatar Janessa Douglas says:

    5 stars
This turned out insanely good. The mushrooms gave it so much flavor and the cheddar melted perfectly. I used breakfast sausage and it was gone in minutes.

    1. 5 stars
Yes!! Mushrooms + sausage is such a perfect combo. I love when the cheddar gets all melty like that—great job!

    2. User avatar rene.schulist62 says:

      3 stars
Huh, I tried something like this but my eggs got kinda rubbery. I think I stirred too much and the heat was too high… still tasted good though.

  31. User avatar cornell.ziemann says:

    4 stars
The veggie timing matters. Mine got a bit too watery before the eggs went in, but once I cooked it a little longer it turned out fine.

    1. 3 stars
I had the opposite problem… I think I overcooked the veggies though, ‘cause my eggs came out kinda rubbery. Still tasted good with the cheddar, so I won’t complain 😅

    2. User avatar anisa.abbott27 says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—mushrooms can dump a ton of water. I usually cook the veggies a little longer until it looks drier before adding the eggs so they don’t turn runny.

  32. User avatar Falmer Gloomlurker says:

    4 stars
Really solid and easy. My only tweak: I browned the sausage a bit longer so it got crispier, and I used smoked paprika in the eggs. Would make again for sure.

    1. User avatar rolanda.brown1951 says:

      3 stars
Sounds good, but wouldn’t the smoked paprika make the eggs a bit too smoky? I usually just do regular paprika or none at all. Still—if you say it works, I’ll try it.

    2. 5 stars
Love the idea of crisping the sausage a little longer—that’s probably the best part. Smoked paprika with the eggs sounds awesome too. Going to steal that tweak next time!

  33. 5 stars
Wow, this was amazing! My husband said it’s the best breakfast he’s ever had!

  34. User avatar bart.denesik says:

    4 stars
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about adding cheese only at the end, but it worked. Next time I’ll add a pinch of smoked paprika though—would be 🔥

  35. 4 stars
    Looks good. Gonna try!

    1. User avatar clifton.doyle99 says:

      5 stars
Nice! Hope it turns out great—don’t skip covering it to melt the cheese.

  36. 4 stars
Quick and easy! My kids loved it. Even picky eaters had seconds!

  37. User avatar williemae.price63 says:

    3 stars
Mine turned out a little watery at first because the mushrooms really dumped liquid. I just cooked the veggies a few extra minutes and it fixed it. Still good!

  38. 3 stars
Not bad. Could use a little more spice. I ended up adding pepper flakes.

  39. User avatar Corrupted Shade says:

    4 stars
Tasty but I think my skillet was too small—the eggs cooked unevenly and I had to keep spreading them out. Still delicious though, especially with the cheddar.

  40. User avatar Penny Profit says:

    3 stars
Too much sausage for my taste. I like to keep it a bit lighter.

    1. User avatar tuan.collier says:

      4 stars
I get that! You can always use less sausage and add more veggies if you want. That’s what I do.

    2. 2 stars
But sausage is what makes it hearty! You can skip it, but you’ll lose the flavor!

  41. 2 stars
Idk, eggs got a little rubbery for me. I followed steps, but maybe my skillet runs hot? Flavor is good, just texture wasn’t there.

    1. 3 stars
That happened to me too, but I think you should’ve used milk or cream in the eggs. Also maybe 6 eggs is too many for one skillet? Idk, my aunt always says rubbery = overcooked. Flavor still good tho—so it’s probably heat.

    2. 5 stars
Hmm, rubbery eggs usually means they cooked a bit too long or the pan was running hot. Next time try lowering the heat right when you add the eggs and stir less—scramble until they’re just set (a little soft is good) then cover for only the last minute for the cheese.

  42. 1 star
Eggs and sausage? Ugh, no thanks. Not for me.

    1. User avatar anonymous_hacker says:

      4 stars
I totally understand, not everyone likes breakfast meats! But this dish is really about the flavors mixing together. You might find it more appealing than you think! 🤔

  43. User avatar Frost Atronach says:

    5 stars
This is basically my kind of breakfast. One pan, hearty, and not complicated. Added hot sauce after cooking and it was 🔥.

  44. 5 stars
This was absolutely delicious! Perfect for Sunday brunch. Will definitely make again!

  45. User avatar douglas.stokes58 says:

    4 stars
I followed it mostly, but my bell pepper stayed crunchy. Still tasted good though—breakfast skillet vibes were strong. Easy week-day meal.

  46. User avatar kathaleen.jaskolski says:

    5 stars
This breakfast skillet is amazing! So hearty and filling.

  47. User avatar giovanni.okon says:

    3 stars
Not bad, but it could use some spice. Like, throw in some hot sauce or something.

  48. User avatar timothy.abshire2015 says:

    2 stars
Seems easy but I don’t get why you push veggies to the side. Just cook them together, right? 🤨

  49. User avatar barrett.schmitt says:

    5 stars
Sausage and mushrooms?! Yes, please! I added some hot sauce and it was fire! 🔥

  50. User avatar sebrina.parker2008 says:

    3 stars
I followed the recipe but forgot the pepper… still was good!

  51. User avatar joan.cummings says:

    5 stars
This dish is amazing! I added some spinach and it turned out delicious. My family loved it!

  52. User avatar deena.stark5 says:

    4 stars
I dont like mushrooms but my husband does. He loved it!

    1. User avatar Demon King Piccolo says:

      5 stars
That’s awesome that your husband loved it! Maybe next time, you could try a version without mushrooms? Maybe add some spinach instead!

  53. 5 stars
One skillet, one meal—love that. I added spinach at the end and it turned out great. Definitely comfort food.

  54. 2 stars
Not my fave. I felt like it needed more cheese and maybe some spinach or something. Otherwise it’s just sausage and eggs with veggies.

  55. User avatar vivan.botsford1997 says:

    5 stars
Made this this morning and it turned out so good—savory, hearty, and the mushrooms really add depth. I used turkey sausage and it still tasted amazing.

  56. 5 stars
easy to make, my kids loved it! I added some spinach too.

  57. User avatar christel.buckridge58 says:

    5 stars
Sausage, eggs, mushrooms… all good stuff! Can’t go wrong! 😋

    1. User avatar agnes.waters says:

      5 stars
Totally agree! This recipe sounds delicious. I love how simple it is to make too! 😍

    2. User avatar denita.hudson says:

      2 stars
I don’t know, seems kinda basic. Just sausages and eggs? Where’s the creativity? 🤔

  58. 5 stars
This is like restaurant breakfast energy. I served it with toast and it looked fancy. Also garlic + onion = undefeated combo.

    1. 5 stars
Totally agree—garlic + onion really is undefeated. The toast pairing sounds perfect too, and that combo with sausage and mushrooms definitely gives “restaurant breakfast” vibes.

  59. User avatar wilford.romaguera says:

    2 stars
Could be me, but my eggs overcooked when I stirred too much. Otherwise flavors were solid—would recommend lowering heat for the scramble step.

  60. 4 stars
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about scrambling the eggs next to the veggies, but it actually came out fluffy. Cook time was about the same as I expected.

    1. 5 stars
Same here—I was convinced the veggies would make the eggs watery, but fluffy is a great sign. I’ll definitely try scrambling it the way you did!

  61. User avatar carson.johnston says:

    3 stars
Not bad, but I expected more flavor. I think the salt/pepper amount is doing a lot of work here, and I didn’t have enough time to properly brown the sausage.

  62. User avatar NAFO.SUPREMACY says:

    3 stars
Meh. The veggies were great, but it needed more seasoning—like more salt or maybe smoked paprika. Also the onion amount is unclear (small how small?).

    1. 4 stars
I didn’t have that issue—used the salt and pepper “to taste” and it worked for us. That said, if you like more punch, smoked paprika sounds great. For the onion I just used one small yellow onion and it was fine.

    2. User avatar Nolan Jacobs says:

      4 stars
Totally agree—veggies were tasty but it came out a little bland for me too. I’d definitely add more salt (and maybe a pinch of smoked paprika) next time. Also lol yeah “small onion” is super vague.

  63. User avatar Zaphod Beeblebrox says:

    4 stars
Pretty good, but my eggs took longer than the recipe said. Next time I’ll lower the heat a bit so they don’t dry out. Still a solid, hearty skillet.

  64. User avatar dorie.robel57 says:

    3 stars
Not bad, but way more pepper than I needed. Also I used turkey sausage and it was a little bland—maybe I should’ve salted the veg more.

  65. User avatar migdalia.smith says:

    2 stars
Why do we need garlic? I never used it in breakfast before. Is it necessary?

  66. User avatar catheryn.mueller1956 says:

    3 stars
The ingredient list says ‘1 bell pepper’ but mine was enormous—could’ve been why the balance felt off. Flavor was decent though. Would recommend with a normal pepper size.

  67. User avatar lonnie.halvorson says:

    5 stars
Made this for brunch and it was seriously perfect—savory sausage with the mushrooms’ juices is such a good combo. I added a little hot sauce at the end and wow.

  68. User avatar graham.medhurst68 says:

    2 stars
Sausage and eggs? Seems like a classic combo but I don’t think I’d make this again. Just meh.

  69. User avatar charissa.kessler78 says:

    3 stars
Eggs got a little watery on my end, probably because I didn’t cook the mushrooms until the liquid cooked off. Otherwise the flavors were decent and it’s definitely a hearty breakfast.

  70. User avatar birdie.paucek17 says:

    3 stars
Seems a bit too greasy for my taste. I think I would skip the sausage next time.

  71. User avatar Mee Purdy says:

    4 stars
Really good flavor combo—sausage + mushrooms is underrated. I did add a pinch of paprika and it kicked it up a notch.

  72. 5 stars
I’m not usually a mushroom person but this recipe converted me. The combination with the sausage is honestly comforting and the skillet method is great.

  73. User avatar lovetta.pagac22 says:

    4 stars
Couldn’t get the mushrooms to “release their liquid” at first—maybe my pan was too hot or something? Eventually it worked and the skillet smelled amazing.

  74. User avatar Stephania Hamill V says:

    3 stars
I tried it but my eggs didn’t scramble right. What did I do wrong? Wish I could give it a higher rating.

  75. User avatar oPandariaNo says:

    5 stars
I can’t believe how fast this was! Breakfast in like 15 mins. Bam!

  76. 5 stars
Really tasty! The cheese makes it extra yummy 😍.

  77. User avatar lorinda.carroll86 says:

    5 stars
6 eggs sounds like a lot but it’s actually right. Very filling. My partner asked me to make it again. 🥚

  78. User avatar wilson.feil2015 says:

    3 stars
Eggs came out kinda tough for me—like rubbery—probably my fault because I kept stirring too much. But flavor was good!

  79. User avatar santos.waelchi1977 says:

    2 stars
I dunno about this one… The mushrooms just don’t seem right to me. Maybe try spinach?

    1. User avatar anonymous_hacker says:

      4 stars
I think mushrooms add a nice flavor, but spinach could work too! Just make sure not to overcook it.

  80. User avatar lawrence.erdman1999 says:

    3 stars
The instruction says whisk eggs with salt and pepper, but no mention of how much salt. I guessed. Turned out okay, but I wish it had measurements.

    1. User avatar Reg Nullify says:

      3 stars
I mean, you can’t really “measure” pepper to taste 😂 I usually just go heavier on salt than I think, because sausage is salty too. But yeah, a ballpark would’ve helped—still, your save is pretty normal.

    2. User avatar sherlyn.mueller51 says:

      5 stars
Totally get that—“salt and pepper to taste” can be annoying when the eggs are the main thing. If you want a starting point, I usually do about 1/4 tsp salt for 6 eggs and then adjust. Glad it still came out okay!

  81. 3 stars
My eggs turned a little too dry, but I think I over-stirred. Next time I’ll cook them a bit slower and pull the skillet sooner.

    1. User avatar gail.conroy22 says:

      5 stars
Totally get it—eggs dry out fast if you stir too much. Your plan to cook a bit slower and pull it sooner is exactly what I do. I also like to stop cooking when they still look slightly soft and just finish from the residual heat.

    2. User avatar antonia.ferry1965 says:

      3 stars
Maybe you’re overcooking them in step 4. If I add eggs and stir a lot they get rubbery, so I try to barely touch them—like, just let them set. Also 6 eggs seems like a lot for that skillet? Could make them cook quicker. Mine usually come out fine though.

  82. User avatar brendon.ankunding says:

    3 stars
The directions are fine, but my skillet got kinda watery from the mushrooms even after ‘until softened.’ I had to crank the heat and cook longer. Tasted good anyway—just more effort than expected.

    1. User avatar ArabianNights says:

      3 stars
Huh, I think your skillet was too full or the heat was too low. I always keep it like a high sizzle after the mushrooms go in. Also, maybe you used wet mushrooms from the fridge? Idk but good job pushing through 😅

    2. User avatar jacquline.durgan1980 says:

      5 stars
Yeah, that happens with mushrooms. Mine do the same if they’re not browning first—next time I’d let them cook uncovered longer so the moisture cooks off instead of just “softened.” Still glad it tasted good though!

  83. User avatar tamiko.jones81 says:

    5 stars
Made this for brunch and it was a hit. The mushrooms really add that savory depth, and the cheddar melt on top is perfect. I added a pinch of smoked paprika and it bumped the flavor a lot.

  84. User avatar buster.kessler79 says:

    3 stars
I used turkey sausage (cause health lol) and it came out a little bland. Would help to add more pepper or even a pinch of smoked paprika.

  85. User avatar Tameka Lind says:

Pretty solid, but I think it needed a little more seasoning. Also my eggs cooked too fast on the second step—watch the heat.

Why cover the skillet? My cheese already melted without covering… maybe I did it wrong but it turned out okay 😅

Not gonna lie, I didn’t think sausage + mushrooms would be “breakfast-y,” but it is. Great combo. Would love to try it with turkey sausage.

This is comfort food. My whole family ate it and asked for seconds. Super easy and the ingredient list is straightforward.

Meh. Tastes a bit like scrambled eggs with toppings. I was expecting more of a “skillet” vibe, like maybe some browning of the eggs.

Why do we need the parsley? Seems like a waste of good food! Just more work for nothing.

Five stars, because my kids ate it and asked for more. And yes I used whatever mushrooms I had—worked anyway.

5 stars? ehh… I forgot the parsley and it tasted fine. Also I only had 5 eggs so I guessed. Turned out okay. Will make again if I stop being lazy.

I tried this and the cheese never melted for me—maybe my skillet wasn’t hot enough or I forgot to cover. The egg part was great regardless.

Ugh, that’s frustrating. I’ve had the same issue if the skillet isn’t hot or if the cover isn’t snug. Cheese melts way better once the eggs are hot and the skillet’s actually at a steady simmer—try covering right after you sprinkle the cheddar and give it 1–2 minutes. Also, pre-shredded cheese can melt slower than freshly shredded.

My kids hated it. They said mushrooms taste like dirt.

Made this for Sunday brunch and it was gone in minutes. The mushrooms give it this rich, savory vibe—plus the cheddar melt on top is perfect.

Made this for brunch and it was a huge hit. The mushrooms actually gave it so much flavor, and the cheddar melt on top was perfect.

I forgot to salt the eggs (oops) and it tasted kinda flat at first. Added more salt and pepper at the end and it fixed it.

Totally relatable—eggs definitely need that seasoning. Glad adding salt/pepper at the end saved it!

The garlic part is where it shines. My apartment smelled amazing. I’d make it again, for sure.

Right?! That garlic really does make the whole skillet smell incredible. I also loved how everything came together so fast—def making it again too.

I think the mushrooms released too much liquid and I had to cook it longer. Also I used bell pepper color mix and it was kinda pretty

Super easy to make! I burnt mine a bit but still ate it. Haha!

Haha, sounds like my cooking skills! But hey, burnt or not, it’s still good! Love this recipe!
