Mimosa with Strawberries

February 12, 2024

A mimosa with strawberries is a delightful and festive version of the classic brunch cocktail. The vibrant pink hue from the strawberries, combined with the refreshing sparkle of champagne or sparkling wine and the citrusy tang of orange juice, makes it a perfect drink for celebrations, brunches, or casual get-togethers.

The foundation of this cocktail is simple, orange juice and sparkling wine. While the traditional mimosa uses regular orange juice, adding a twist of fresh strawberries enhances both the flavor and the visual appeal. You can either slice the strawberries and drop them directly into the glass for a pop of color, or blend them into a puree to mix directly with the orange juice for an added burst of berry sweetness.

For the sparkling wine, you can opt for champagne, prosecco, or any sparkling white wine you prefer. The key is to choose a wine with enough effervescence to balance the sweetness of the strawberries and the tanginess of the orange juice. The bubbles add a festive touch, making this mimosa the perfect drink for brunch, holiday gatherings, or any occasion that calls for a little celebration.

To prepare, simply pour the orange juice into your glass, top with sparkling wine, and add a few fresh strawberry slices or a spoonful of strawberry puree. The combination of fruity flavors and fizzy bubbles makes this drink refreshing and light. If you’re feeling creative, you can garnish your mimosa with a whole strawberry on the rim or a sprig of fresh mint for an added touch of elegance.

This romantic and delicious Mimosa with strawberries cocktail is the perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your loved ones. Combining the freshness of orange juice with the bubbly effervescence of champagne, this cocktail is a popular choice for special occasions.

The Mimosa with strawberries cocktail is a classic favorite for brunches, bridal showers, and of course, romantic occasions like Valentine’s Day. Its simplicity and delightful taste make it a popular choice among cocktail enthusiasts.

While the Mimosa cocktail is a delightful treat, it’s important to enjoy it in moderation due to its alcohol content. However, the addition of fresh orange juice provides a dose of Vitamin C and other antioxidants. Opting for a freshly squeezed juice can enhance the health benefits of this cocktail.

First time trying this! I messed up and added too much champagne LOL. Still tasted great!

  2. 2 stars
Other drinks are better! But if you love it, then good for you.

Yummy in my tummy. Can’t go wrong with mimosas! 💖

  4. User avatar stella.kuhn says:

Eh, mine came out a little too sweet and flat. Maybe I didn’t use the best champagne? I’ll try with a drier sparkling wine next time.

    1. User avatar claud.larson says:

      4 stars
Oof, that’s frustrating! I’ve noticed orange juice brand makes a huge difference—some are super sweet. Next time try a “no pulp / not from concentrate” style or even a splash less OJ and top up with the wine.

    2. User avatar Randa Gulgowski says:

      4 stars
Maybe your OJ was too sweet? Also I used prosecco once and it was kinda flat, so yeah—try a drier sparkling wine like you said. Quick question: did you use freshly chilled champagne? Warm bubbles can taste weird.

This recipe is super easy! Made it for my friend’s brunch and everyone loved it! 🍾🥂

Who knew a drink could be so fancy with just two ingredients! Even my boyfriend loved it. 🍾❤️

Right?! It’s so easy but looks so classy! I made it for my best friend’s birthday last week. She couldn’t believe how simple it was! 🍹✨

    2. User avatar terminatorXYZ says:

      2 stars
But isn’t it just orange juice and fizz? Seems kinda basic to me…🤔

  7. User avatar ALTplusF4 says:

    2 stars
I did exactly the recipe but mine went flat super quick. Maybe my glasses were warm? Also the strawberries sank, lol.

  8. User avatar garry.miller3 says:

    5 stars
So simple! I made this for two and it tasted bright and fancy without much work. The strawberry garnish was a cute touch.

  9. User avatar genaro.swaniawski13 says:

Strawberries on top = instant romance. Also I accidentally poured too much in the first glass and oops—still delicious.

  10. User avatar jackie.green1999 says:

    5 stars
Yum! Can’t wait to serve these on Valentine’s! ❤️

  11. User avatar adelaide.lemke1970 says:

    2 stars
I don’t think Mimosas should have strawberries… seems kinda weird to me. Orange juice and champagne is enough!

  12. User avatar kerry.goodwin2005 says:

    3 stars
This recipe was a bit too basic for me. I added some peach juice for extra flavor.

  13. User avatar venetta.heaney90 says:

    4 stars
Did you need to mix the juice and champagn? I just poured them separately… it still worked?

  14. User avatar jaqueline.johnston says:

    3 stars
I don’t understand the stirring gently part—champagne is already fizzy. I stirred like normal and it was fine.

    1. 4 stars
Yeah, “stir gently” is kind of confusing. I think they mean just mix it without killing too much of the bubbles, but if yours turned out fine, you’re probably good.

  15. User avatar alessandra.cole says:

    5 stars
Simple and refreshing! Great for a hot day.

  16. User avatar shad.hoeger says:

Made this for my partner and it was a hit. Not too sweet, great brunch vibes. I used prosecco and it still worked perfectly. Definitely doing again on Valentine’s Day.

    1. User avatar becky.kshlerin says:

      5 stars
Aww love this! Brunch + Valentine’s Day is such a vibe. Glad prosecco worked too—good tip!

    2. User avatar maurice.kassulke80 says:

      3 stars
I tried it but mine tasted kinda flat. I think I should’ve used sweeter OJ? Also I forgot to garnish at first lol. Still was okay though.

  17. 5 stars
I thought this was just for fancy parties. Who knew it was this easy? 😂

    1. User avatar leilani.sipes says:

      5 stars
Right? It’s super simple! Perfect for brunch too! 🍊🥂

    2. User avatar harriette.prosacco23 says:

      3 stars
Wait, is that really champagne? I thought that was just fancy stuff. 🤔

  18. User avatar Ms. Susan Effertz says:

    3 stars
This is cute but… do you really stir gently? I just shook mine in the pitcher and now it’s basically foam. Taste was ok though.

    1. 5 stars
Good catch 😅 I should’ve said “stir just enough to combine” — if you shake it, the bubbles basically go into overdrive and you’ll get that foamy top. Next time try a slow, light stir (or just pour the champagne in gently) and it should settle faster. Glad the flavor was still good!

  19. User avatar Questular Rontok says:

    5 stars
OMG, so good! Made them for my boyfriend and he can’t stop asking for more!

  20. User avatar landon.turcotte says:

    4 stars
Simple but cute. I used refrigerated orange juice and it still worked great. Only thing: I’d say garnish right before serving because the berries start floating weird.

  21. User avatar isiah.farrell says:

    4 stars
I didn’t have champagne, so I used soda water instead. Not the same but still tasty! 😂

  22. User avatar eugene.yost88 says:

    4 stars
Wow, this is so easy! I made it for a party and everyone loved it! 😍

  23. User avatar isabell.wisozk92 says:

    4 stars
Good basic recipe but next time I’m adding some peach juice to jazz it up a bit. 🌟

    1. 3 stars
Peach juice? Never thought of that, but okay! 🤔 Can’t imagine it working tho.

    2. User avatar edyth.jaskolski80 says:

      5 stars
That sounds like a delicious twist! I love peach juice in drinks. 🥳

  24. User avatar shavonne.funk80 says:

    2 stars
I don’t see how it’s special. It’s just juice and bubbly. Meh.

    1. 4 stars
I get what you’re saying, but sometimes simple is best! This is perfect for brunch with friends.

    2. 3 stars
But it’s not just juice and bubbly! The strawberries make it special! You gotta try it at least once.

  25. User avatar britney.larson92 says:

    5 stars
So tasty! I made it for my partner and we both enjoyed it. Will make again for sure!

  26. User avatar gertrud.leffler1974 says:

    2 stars
I don’t get it—why add orange juice at all? Champagne should be enjoyed straight. Also, I spilled everywhere when pouring. 0/10 for my coordination.

  27. User avatar tissues_with_issues says:

    5 stars
I added some peach puree too, and wow! Way better than regular mimosas! My friends couldn’t get enough! 🍑🥂

    1. 5 stars
Peach puree sounds delicious! I’ll have to try that next time. Thanks for the tip! 🍑✨

  28. User avatar vanetta.schaefer96 says:

    3 stars
Tastes great! But, like, isn’t champagne just really expensive sparkling wine? Why not just use soda instead?

    1. User avatar rich.landlord says:

      4 stars
Haha, you got a point! But champagne adds a special flair, ya know? It’s like a celebration in a glass. Soda just ain’t the same! 🍾

  29. 3 stars
Okay but… “stir gently” is doing some heavy lifting here. I poured too fast and it got kinda foamy. Still tasty though.

    1. User avatar tissues_with_issues says:

      4 stars
Yeah, “stir gently” is definitely the whole trick. Foamy mimosa usually still tastes fine though—next time just pour the champagne in slower or whisk super light.

  30. User avatar xochitl.botsford22 says:

    5 stars
OMG YUM! I could drink this all day! Perfect for any celebration! 🌟

  31. User avatar cecelia.hoeger says:

    1 star
Doesn’t champagne make it go flat? I might just stick to soda 😒

    1. User avatar lindsey.wintheiser says:

      4 stars
Actually, champagne won’t go flat right away! If you pour it slow and serve it right, it’ll stay bubbly for a while. Don’t give up on mimosas! 🍾

  32. User avatar colene.kuvalis1983 says:

    2 stars
Why so little ingredients? I feel like it needs more fruit or something. Not enough flavor for me.

  33. User avatar Saturnina Zemlak says:

    1 star
Sorry but this didn’t work for me. I think 2 cups orange juice is too much—tastes kinda like orange soda. Also, I didn’t have strawberries so I used raspberries and it was weird.

    1. 4 stars
Aw that sucks! I’ve noticed 2 cups OJ can definitely overpower it—more like orange soda if the juice is sweet. Next time try 1 cup orange juice and top off with the champagne. Also raspberries sound tasty but yeah, not quite the same vibe as strawberries for the garnish.

  34. User avatar mathWizard says:

    2 stars
Really? Just juice and champagne? It’s just for drinking, not cooking! 🙄

    1. 5 stars
Mimosas are amazing! Sometimes simple is best. Perfect for brunch, not for cooking! 🥂🍊

  35. User avatar steve_maga says:

    2 stars
Meh. Too sweet for me. Maybe use less orange juice next time?

  36. User avatar jerrell.gaylord says:

    1 star
Eh. I don’t see what the fuss is about. Just orange juice and wine. 🤷‍♂️

    1. User avatar Frost Atronach says:

      4 stars
I get what you mean, but sometimes simple is best! Mimosas are all about enjoying good company, right?

  37. User avatar my.breitenberg57 says:

    4 stars
Why strawberries? They just sink! Still delicious tho. Will try with raspberries next time.

  38. User avatar basil.hintz38 says:

    3 stars
This recipe is so basic, do people really need instructions for this? Can you mess it up? Haha!!!

  39. User avatar carey.dicki55 says:

    4 stars
Easy and delicious! Just like my grandma used to make. 🍾

  40. 3 stars
I tried this with sparkling water instead of Champagne. It was okay, but not the same.

  41. User avatar terminatorXYZ says:

    4 stars
Used cheap champagne for this and it was still a hit at the party! Will repeat for sure!

  42. 3 stars
Looks cute but 2 cups OJ + a whole bottle seems kinda strong? Like it’ll go fast. Tastes good though.

  43. User avatar mica.steuber2003 says:

    3 stars
I messed up and didn’t stir gently, it got kinda fizzy-over lol. Tasted fine, but presentation was rough. Also, strawberries were expensive here 😅

  44. 4 stars
Loved the flavor, but I wish the recipe mentioned how sweet to go. My champagne was pretty dry, so it was more tart than romantic.

  45. 4 stars
I put berries instead of strawberries and it was still good. Make sure to chill the champagne! 🍾

    1. User avatar tissues_with_issues says:

      4 stars
Berries instead of strawberries? That’s interesting! I never thought of that. Might give it a shot!

  46. User avatar NAFO.SUPREMACY says:

    5 stars
I followed it exactly and it came out bubbly and good. Next time I’m trying with a sweeter OJ or a sweeter Prosecco.

  47. User avatar kimbery.boehm says:

    2 stars
I don’t get the point—it’s basically orange juice and sparkling wine, right? Still, it looks pretty in the glass.

  48. User avatar gayle.prosacco1954 says:

    1 star
Meh. I tried it, but my strawberries sank and the drink tasted kinda flat. Maybe my wine was old. Not buying again.

  49. 3 stars
Super simple, but can I use any other juice? Like apple? I really don’t like orange. Anyway, still good, I guess.

  50. User avatar edison.homenick1988 says:

    2 stars
    Uhhh, isn’t champange really expensive? How’s this a budget-friendly recipe? 🤔

    1. User avatar elmo.graham says:

      3 stars
I don’t know much about wines, but aren’t some champagnes ok priced? Maybe there’s a sale? 🤷‍♂️

    2. 4 stars
I get what you mean! Champagne can be pricey. You could swap it with prosecco or cheap sparkling wine if you’re on a budget.

  51. User avatar MAGA2024.Trumpster says:

    4 stars
Simple but I think 2 cups orange juice for a whole bottle might be a little strong on the OJ side? I added less juice and it tasted more balanced. Otherwise good.

    1. User avatar Sand-Dial says:

      5 stars
I agree—2 cups OJ can be a bit too orange-y. I usually do closer to 1.5 cups and it tastes way more “mimosa” and less “juice box.”

    2. 4 stars
Good point! I actually used 2 cups and thought it was delicious, but maybe depends on how sweet your sparkling wine is.

  52. User avatar karl.bauch2021 says:

    3 stars
I mean… it’s just OJ and bubbles. Not complaining, but $ for Champagne? I used prosecco and it turned out fine.

    1. 5 stars
Honestly I agree—if it’s mainly OJ + bubbles, it’s not that serious. I’ve done it with prosecco too and it tasted great. The strawberries are the real MVP.

  53. 5 stars
Super easy and delicious! I added some mango juice too and it was divine! Will make again!

  54. 3 stars
How many servings does this make? Seems like not enough for a party. 🤔

  55. User avatar osvaldo.hamill77 says:

    4 stars
Can’t believe how good this tastes with store-bought OJ. The instructions are spot on—gentle stirring matters!

  56. User avatar virgen.hilpert45 says:

    1 star
it’s just orange juice and sparkling wine, what’s the big deal? 1 star, sorry.

    1. 5 stars
I get what you mean, but it’s all about the presentation! Plus, it’s a classic for a reason. 🍾 5 stars for me!

  57. User avatar joie.terry29 says:

    3 stars
My bubbles went flat after I let it sit for a bit—should’ve served immediately like it says. Still tasty, just not as fun.

  58. User avatar rosalina.hahn96 says:

    5 stars
Made this for our Valentine’s brunch—so easy and honestly tastes fancy. The orange + bubbles combo is perfect, and the strawberries make it look like a restaurant drink.

    1. User avatar granville.douglas16 says:

      5 stars
Aww that sounds perfect—simple but looks fancy! I love the orange + bubbles combo too. I’m stealing this for our brunch 😄

  59. User avatar jerrell.homenick39 says:

    4 stars
I thought this would be too sweet, but it was refreshing! We had it for breakfast and it was great!

    1. User avatar trisha.sauer2016 says:

      2 stars
Nah, sounds too sweet tbh. Shouldn’t breakfast be something more filling? Just orange juice and champagne??

    2. User avatar basementDweller says:

      5 stars
Glad you liked it! I wasn’t sure about the sweetness either but I gave it a try. It’s now my favorite breakfast drink!

  60. User avatar shanti.beer99 says:

    2 stars
This is basically juice with fancy wine, right? Don’t get me wrong, it’s probably good, but calling it a recipe feels like stretching.

    1. User avatar tarra.jerde1971 says:

      3 stars
Kinda, yeah. Like… orange juice + bubbles = breakfast drink. But “recipe” just means steps, and these are clear. I’d maybe add a splash of sweetener if your OJ is too tart.

    2. 4 stars
I get what you mean, but mimosa *is* kind of a cheat recipe. Still, it’s a classic for a reason—quick, tasty, and looks fancy for date night.

  61. 3 stars
A bit too sweet for my taste. Maybe less OJ next time?

    1. User avatar odis.pagac24 says:

      4 stars
I think the sweetness is part of the fun! But I get you, maybe just a splash less OJ could work.

  62. User avatar berry.zieme92 says:

    1 star
I hate orange juice. Can you use apple instead? Seems like a waste otherwise.

  63. 1 star
Um, where’s the recipe for a white wine spritzer? This is misleading.

    1. User avatar Easton West says:

      2 stars
Yeah, I thought this was about white wine spritzers. Just a tad confusing.

    2. 4 stars
This is definitely not a spritzer! But who doesn’t love a mimosa? 🍾

  64. 2 stars
This is basically a fancy drink hack. Nothing wrong with that, but I wouldn’t call it “Valentine’s” without at least adding more garnish or syrup.

  65. 1 star
Ugh, too much fizz! Makes me burp like crazy! 😬

  66. User avatar Bowerick Wowbagger says:

    2 stars
I used regular sparkling wine and it was way too strong at first sip. Maybe I should’ve stirred more gently or used more orange juice.

    1. User avatar Pizpot Gargravarr says:

      5 stars
That makes sense—Champagne can be pretty punchy on the first sip. I’d definitely try a bit more orange juice next time and definitely stir gently like the recipe says. Also, letting it sit 1–2 minutes can mellow it out a little.

  67. User avatar guadalupe.volkman13 says:

    4 stars
Strawberries were a nice touch! I sprinkled some sugar on them too.

  68. User avatar avril.kessler says:

    5 stars
This mimosa was a hit at my Valentine’s brunch! So refreshing! 🥂

  69. User avatar danial.quigley82 says:

Such a classic! Perfect for Valentine’s Day celebrations. Loved it!

    1. User avatar ellamae.waters1 says:

      5 stars
Absolutely agree! Mimosas are a must for any special occasion. 🌹

    2. User avatar garret.bergnaum says:

      2 stars
I dunno… kinda basic? I guess it’s alright for a brunch, but not that special.

  70. User avatar steve_maga says:

    3 stars
Honestly, not my fave drink, but the strawberries made it nice.

    1. User avatar steve_maga says:

      4 stars
I get that! Not everyone loves mimosas. Maybe try it with a different fruit next time? Like peaches or raspberries, they’re good too!

  71. 5 stars
This is super easy! I made it for my husband on Valentine’s Day and he loved it! Cheers! 🍾

    1. User avatar amina.oconner81 says:

      5 stars
Sounds delicious! I think I’ll try this for my anniversary too. Thanks for sharing!

  72. User avatar bradly.walter92 says:

    5 stars
This fizz is just perfect for my valentine’s brunch! Everyone loved it!

  73. 4 stars
I’m skeptical it needs only orange juice and champagne… but it’s actually good. I guess the ratios matter—2 cups to a whole bottle seems pretty strong on the bubbly side.

    1. User avatar rosalina.jast says:

      4 stars
Yeah, I was skeptical too—“OJ + champagne” sounds too simple. But the ratio makes it work. 2 cups to a whole bottle is pretty forgiving and not overly sweet.

  74. User avatar gabriela.veum48 says:

    4 stars
Strawberries make it fancy. I like it! But is there a non-alcoholic version? My aunt can’t have champagne.

  75. 5 stars
I loved how quick this was—like 5 minutes and done. I served it at brunch and everyone kept asking for the recipe.

    1. User avatar lieselotte.greenfelder0 says:

      5 stars
Right?? I tried it at brunch too—so fast and tastes fancy without the effort. The strawberry garnish is the perfect touch.

  76. User avatar shin.ryan95 says:

    3 stars
Not gonna lie, I messed up and poured it too fast. It foamed like crazy. Still tasted good though, just looked like a science experiment. Will do slower next time.

  77. 5 stars
So easy and it tastes so fancy for basically no work. The strawberry garnish is adorable—perfect for Valentine’s morning.

    1. User avatar rupert.ortiz48 says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—this is the easiest “fancy” drink ever. The strawberry garnish makes it look like you tried way harder than you did 😊

  78. User avatar jae.altenwerth84 says:

    3 stars
This recipe is missing some flavor. I put in some raspberry syrup and it was better!

  79. User avatar Gandalf the Grey says:

    5 stars
Super easy and actually tastes fancy. The orange juice makes it bright and not too strong. Strawberries on top are such a cute touch for Valentine’s.

    1. 5 stars
So cute! I love that it’s simple but still feels fancy. The orange juice combo sounds perfect for a lighter mimosa—adding strawberries is such a nice touch.

  80. 5 stars
This mimosa is so refreshing! Perfect for Valentine’s brunch. 🍊🥂

    1. User avatar lady.hermann says:

      5 stars
I love mimosas! Just made them for brunch last weekend. So easy and tasty! 🥰

    2. 3 stars
Isn’t champagne just super expensive? I wonder if it would taste fine with soda instead? 🤔

  81. 5 stars
Absolutely loved this recipe! Perfect for our Valentine’s brunch. The strawberries add a nice touch. 5 stars!

    1. 3 stars
This seems too simple. Does it really taste that good? I always thought mimosas were just for brunch.

    2. 5 stars
So glad you enjoyed it! The strawberries really do make it special. Cheers! 🥂

  82. User avatar linn.hand86 says:

    5 stars
My bad grammar but: it was yummy!! The strawberries on top were so cute. Will make again for sure.

    1. 5 stars
No worries about the grammar—glad you enjoyed it! 🍓✨ The strawberries really do make it extra cute. Definitely want to try this again too!

  83. 5 stars
So simple and honestly perfect for Valentine’s Day—sweet, bubbly, and looks fancy with the strawberries.

    1. 4 stars
Not gonna lie, it’s basically juice + bubbly lol. Still, the strawberry garnish is a nice touch. Does it need more sweetness though or is the orange juice enough?

    2. User avatar marcellus.durgan2012 says:

      5 stars
Agreed! This is such an easy “looks fancy” Valentine drink. The strawberries make it feel extra special.

  84. User avatar Mrs. Jody Glover says:

    5 stars
To be honest, I thought this would be hard to make, but it was super simple. Will make again! 👍

    1. User avatar emerita.effertz1977 says:

      2 stars
Really? I thought mimosas needed more ingredients than that. Seems too simple to be good.

    2. User avatar claudette.beer says:

      5 stars
I was shocked at how easy it was too! Great recipe for a special occasion. 🌸

  85. User avatar Emily Saunders says:

1 bottle champagne? That’s way too much for me. I guess I’ll half it. Also I’m not sure why it’s called mimosa if it’s basically orange juice with bubbles… unless I’m missing something.

  87. User avatar margarita.anderson30 says:

    3 stars
Aren’t mimosas just for breakfast? A little odd for Valentine’s Dinner… but ok.

  88. 4 stars
Pretty good! I might reduce the orange juice a little next time because mine tasted slightly more like orange drink than mimosa. Still cute though.

    1. 5 stars
Totally agree—if you go too heavy on the OJ it loses that “mimosa” vibe. Next time I’ll try cutting it down like you suggested. 🍊✨

  89. User avatar rebecca.barton says:

    4 stars
I followed it exactly but maybe I stirred a little too aggressively—mine got fizzy foam everywhere 😅 Still delicious though. Would make again, just go gentler on step 2.

  90. User avatar Treebeard says:

    4 stars
I followed it exactly, but I used prosecco instead of champagne and it still worked great. Light, bubbly, and not too sweet.

  91. User avatar freddie.fahey2 says:

    4 stars
I used orange juice (not fresh squeezed) and a cheap sparkling wine, and it still tasted great. Definitely a crowd-pleaser.

  92. User avatar lisha.gleichner2014 says:

    3 stars
Y’all know champagne’s just wine, right? Like, why not just drink wine?

  93. 5 stars
Made this for brunch and everyone loved it. I used chilled orange juice and it came out perfect—really refreshing.

  94. User avatar terminatorXYZ says:

    5 stars
Simple and quick! This is my go-to for brunch parties now. 💖🍾

  95. User avatar darren.bins says:

    2 stars
I don’t understand why people make this. Just pour some orange juice into the glass and call it a day! 🤷‍♀️

  96. User avatar Emily Saunders says:

    5 stars
Super simple but still feels fancy—perfect for Valentine’s. The strawberries make it look like you tried way harder than you did. 🍓✨

  97. User avatar natosha.stiedemann12 says:

    4 stars
Not gonna lie, I’m skeptical about mixing OJ with champagne. But I followed the steps and it turned out way better than expected. Still… use good champagne, not the cheapest stuff.

    1. User avatar cyrus.klocko says:

      5 stars
I was skeptical too—OJ + champagne sounds like a weird combo—but yeah, it surprisingly works. I also grabbed a decent bottle and it made a big difference.

  98. 2 stars
I don’t get why everyone is making mimosas. They seem so basic! 🤷‍♂️

    1. User avatar terminatorXYZ says:

      3 stars
They’re not basic! They’re refreshing and fun. What do you prefer, something more complicated?

    2. User avatar benita.pfannerstill says:

      5 stars
Mimosas are classic for a reason! Perfect for brunch with friends. 🍊🥂

  99. 4 stars
Could be dangerous lol—drinks go down fast. I followed the steps exactly and it was tasty, though I wish it were a bit sweeter.

    1. User avatar heidy.ullrich88 says:

      5 stars
Haha totally—mimosa confidence is real until it hits 😅 I’ve found adding a splash more orange juice (or a sweeter OJ) brings the sweetness up without changing much. Glad you followed it exactly!

  100. 5 stars
Wow. This is honestly the best low-effort drink I’ve ever made for guests. Everyone asked for the recipe.

  101. 5 stars
Yum! I decided to make it for my brunch and it turned out great. Everybody loved it! 😍

    1. User avatar Frost Troll says:

      2 stars
I dunno… mimosas are just fancy juice to me. 🤷‍♂️ Maybe I’ll stick with coffee.

    2. User avatar Super Saiyan 2 Goku says:

That sounds amazing! I love mimosas for brunch too! 🍾🥂 What other dishes did you serve?

  102. 2 stars
just mix juice and champagne??? like is this a recipe? LOL. anyone can do this.

  103. User avatar scorpion says:

    5 stars
Delicious! My girlfriend loved it! Perfect for Valentine’s Day! ❤️

  104. 5 stars
This is so easy! I made it for my partner and they loved it. Definitely a keeper! 🍾❤️

    1. 5 stars
Sounds delicious! Can’t believe something so simple can impress. Will try this for my spouse too!

  105. User avatar margurite.parker75 says:

    4 stars
I didn’t have strawberries, so I used blueberries. Still yum! 😍

  106. User avatar Reg Nullify says:

    2 stars
Not sure why everyone loves mimosas. They’re just orange juice and bubbly, right? Meh.

  107. User avatar zula.hartmann1957 says:

    1 star
Too much juice, not enough sparkle. Feels flat. Prefer my mimosas with more bubbly!

  108. User avatar elmo.kertzmann96 says:

    1 star
Too many bubbles! I can’t drink it, my tummy hurt. 😂

  109. User avatar Mr. Reyes Stiedemann says:

    1 star
I didn’t have champagne so I used soda instead. It was okay but a totally different drink. Don’t recommend

  110. User avatar hilma.welch53 says:

    3 stars
Could use more instructions? Like do you chill the juice first? Mine was cold enough but not ice-cold, if that makes sense.

    1. User avatar erick.armstrong38 says:

      5 stars
Good point! I don’t chill the juice *separately*—I just use chilled orange juice (straight from the fridge) and chilled champagne. If yours wasn’t ice-cold, that’ll definitely make it feel less “sparkly-refreshing,” so chilling both helps. You’re right that the instructions could be clearer—serve immediately after mixing too.

  111. User avatar brendon.romaguera53 says:

    3 stars
I don’t drink sparkling wine… can I use soda? Need suggestions!

  112. 4 stars
Really simple recipe but I added a splash of grenadine for color. It was pretty!

  113. User avatar Mr. Dale Oberbrunner says:

    2 stars
Too much like a regular mimosa. Not impressed. Need more pizazz!

  114. User avatar Emily Saunders says:

    4 stars
The bubbles from the champagne made me feel fancy! But I feel like it needed more juice than what you said.

  115. User avatar phyliss.shields1950 says:

    4 stars
This is less a recipe and more an instruction manual lol. But it’s actually kinda genius—2 ingredients and you’re basically a romantic.

  116. 1 star
Mimosa? You mean just juice and fizz? Not a real cocktail! 1 star.

  117. User avatar Super Saiyan Goku says:

    4 stars
Not gonna lie, it’s basically orange juice + champagne. Still, the strawberries make it feel special.

  118. User avatar Ms. France Yundt says:

    4 stars
I made this last night. It tasted great, but I used way too much orange juice and it got kinda flat. Next time I’ll measure better.

  119. User avatar vernetta.moen says:

    5 stars
Super easy and honestly looks fancy. The strawberry garnish is a nice touch—makes it feel way more “Valentine” than just orange juice + bubbles.

  120. 5 stars
This was so easy to make! Perfect for our brunch! 🥂

  121. User avatar suspiciousCommentator says:

    4 stars
I added a splash of grenadine too. Made it sweeter! 🍹

    1. 4 stars
Grenadine? That’s an interesting twist! I might try that next time. 😍

  122. User avatar iola.schuppe18 says:

    4 stars
Pretty straightforward, but I added a splash more OJ and it was less fizzy than I expected. Still good though, just next time I’ll go lighter.

    1. 5 stars
Thanks for the tip! I always add a little extra OJ too—good to know it’ll make it less fizzy. Next time I’ll go lighter and serve right away.

  123. 3 stars
Not gonna lie I expected more effort for “Valentine’s.” It’s just juice and champagne. That said, it’s still kinda genius and pretty fast.

    1. 5 stars
Wait… strawberries on top? That part I love. But my juice always gets flat, so I add more bubbles at the end. Still good tho!

    2. 4 stars
Honestly same—“Valentine’s” had me picturing something fancier. But this is fast and tastes cute. Genius for a last-minute plan.

  124. 4 stars
I thought mimosas were more complicated?! This recipe was so simple, I was shocked. Definitely my go-to now! 😍

  125. User avatar renato.prohaska81 says:

    5 stars
Super simple and honestly tastes like a fancy brunch without the stress. The strawberry garnish is a nice touch—made it feel extra Valentine-y.

    1. User avatar Florinda Daniel says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—this is such a low-effort way to feel fancy. The strawberry garnish makes it look way more “Valentine’s” than just plain bubbles 😊

    2. User avatar towanda.mann38 says:

      3 stars
Sounds good but I’m confused—do you use cold OJ or warm? I did warm once and it tasted kinda flat lol. Still, I like the idea of dropping strawberries in there.

  126. 5 stars
This is the easiest “recipe” I’ve ever made. My partner loved it and I didn’t have to stress. 10/10 would do again.

  127. User avatar suspiciousCommentator says:

    5 stars
Super easy and honestly tastes fancy for basically zero effort. The orange + bubbles is such a classic combo. Added a few extra strawberries and it looked so cute—served immediately like the instructions say.

  128. 2 stars
I dunno, the champagne I got was kinda cheap and the mix didn’t seem right. Maybe it’s just me? 2/5

  129. User avatar larissa.krajcik35 says:

    2 stars
Eh. Mine went a little flat way too quickly because I stirred too vigorously. Also, the strawberries sank for some reason.

    1. User avatar Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz says:

      4 stars
Good to know! I always end up stirring a bit too much too. Might try “barely” swirling next time so it doesn’t go flat so fast.

    2. 3 stars
Mine didn’t do that… or maybe I did something diff. The strawberries sank cuz they weren’t cut small enough? lol. Still tasted good tho.

  130. 3 stars
The instructions are super barebones. What size bottle? Do I chill everything first? I guess it worked though.

  131. User avatar chong.nikolaus says:

    5 stars
Made this for a date night—everyone thought I’d slaved over it. Honestly the garnish strawberries are the MVP. Will definitely repeat.

  132. 2 stars
Honestly, I had higher hopes. The orange juice wasn’t fresh and it didn’t taste as good as I expected. 🤷‍♀️

  133. 3 stars
Mimosas are overrated…gotta admit tho this was kinda nice. But still overrated.

  134. User avatar terminatorXYZ says:

    5 stars
This mimosa was the highlight of our Valentine’s Day brunch! So refreshing! 5 stars!!

    1. User avatar wellRespected says:

      5 stars
Totally agree! Mimosas are like sunshine in a glass! Perfect for any occasion.

    2. User avatar korey.raynor1986 says:

      2 stars
I dunno, isn’t champagne kinda expensive? There must be cheaper ways to make it fun.

  135. 2 stars
I tried “sparkling wine” instead of champagne and it tastes a little funky. Probably my choice of brand, but I’m not convinced.

  136. User avatar dianne.dickens says:

    5 stars
Super easy and way more festive than I expected. The orange juice + bubbly ratio tastes bright and not too sweet. I used prosecco and it worked great.

  137. 5 stars
    Yum! Great brunch drink.

  138. 4 stars
Not sure why everyone makes a big deal—mimosas are just OJ + champagne lol. But yeah, the strawberry garnish helps.

  139. User avatar Draugr Wight says:

    5 stars
So simple and honestly looks super festive. The strawberries make it feel way fancier than it is—perfect for Valentine’s night!

  140. User avatar tiffanie.rowe94 says:

    2 stars
One star because my strawberries sank to the bottom immediately. Also I used cheap sparkling wine and it tasted kinda sour.

    1. 2 stars
One star seems harsh, but I get it. I think your cheap sparkling wine was the problem—if it’s too dry or not very sweet it can taste sour fast. Maybe next time use a sweeter prosecco/brut (or add a splash more OJ). Also did you stir gently? If you agitate it, stuff settles more.

    2. User avatar taylor.gibson20 says:

      3 stars
Aww that stinks! Strawberries sinking is pretty common since they’re heavier and the mix is cold—try floating them on top or use bigger pieces. Also, sweeten-adjust next time if the OJ isn’t doing it for you.

  141. User avatar rosette.kuvalis57 says:

    3 stars
I tried using grapefruit juice instead of orange because I had it… it was kinda bitter? Not awful, but it definitely wasn’t the same vibe. Orange is the way to go.

  142. User avatar Mrs. Rodrigo Bashirian says:

    5 stars
Tried this for a date night and it was gone fast 😅 Tastes light, not too sweet. I used prosecco and it worked great.

    1. User avatar josphine.lynch1996 says:

      5 stars
Yes!! Prosecco is such a good swap—glad it still tasted light and not cloying 😄

  143. User avatar harlan.mraz98 says:

    5 stars
    One word: AMAZING.

  144. User avatar earline.hayes says:

    3 stars
Mimosas? LOL. I tried making this and ended up spilling juice everywhere. My fault but the taste was good tho.

  145. User avatar water buffalo says:

    3 stars
I tried it and… mine turned a bit flat? Maybe I stirred too hard. Also I didn’t have fresh strawberries so I used frozen and it got watery. Still drinkable, just not the wow factor.

  146. 3 stars
This seems kind of pointless—just juice and champagne. Like, I could do that myself without a recipe 😅 But I guess sometimes easy wins.

  147. User avatar myesha.cremin says:

    5 stars
So easy! This will be my go-to drink for every holiday now!

  148. User avatar cliff.farrell says:

    4 stars
This is nice, but I felt like it was a bit strong on the champagne flavor. Next time I’ll do a splash more orange juice so it’s more mellow.

    1. User avatar franklin.waelchi61 says:

      4 stars
Mmm yeah I had the same thing once. I thought it was supposed to be super boozy tho. Maybe my champagne was just extra strong… but your fix with more OJ makes sense.

    2. 5 stars
Good point! I’ve noticed the champagne can totally dominate—adding a bit more orange juice (or pouring lighter on the champagne) makes it way more balanced.

  149. User avatar chanda.brekke84 says:

    3 stars
Not gonna lie, “Valentine’s” for orange juice + champagne feels kinda basic lol. Still, it’s refreshing and easy—can’t complain.

    1. User avatar ali.ruecker says:

      5 stars
I get what you mean—“Valentine’s” is super on-the-nose 😅 But honestly, it’s a crowd-pleaser and takes like 5 minutes. I’d still make this.

  150. User avatar nestor.walker says:

    4 stars
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical—just juice + bubbles? But it’s actually really tasty. Bright and refreshing.

  151. User avatar Pit Wolf says:

    5 stars
This was a hit at our Valentine’s brunch! Super easy to make and delicious. Will definitely make again!

  152. 3 stars
Pretty good, but I think the ratio is a little heavy on the orange juice. Next time I’ll do a bit more bubbly for balance.

  153. User avatar raeann.prohaska says:

    1 star
This seems too simple… like, it can’t be real mimosa, right? I think I’ll add some sugar next time.

  154. User avatar basementDweller says:

    5 stars
So easy and honestly kinda perfect for Valentine’s. The orange + bubbles combo tastes bright and not too sweet—my guests went back for more. Garnishing with strawberries made it look fancy too.

    1. User avatar jarod.paucek says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—orange + bubbles is such a win for Valentine’s. I added a couple extra strawberries on top and it looked restaurant-level. 🥂

    2. User avatar antonette.rice79 says:

      4 stars
Wait… “orange juice + champagne” is it? That seems too simple lol. I guess it works though. I used prosecco and it was still pretty good. Not too sweet like you said!

  155. User avatar marian.stracke34 says:

    5 stars
Delicious! Quick date drink. My girlfriend loved it. I added extra strawberries and it was wow.

  156. 4 stars
I tried this with chilled prosecco and it was great. I did half the orange juice next time though—felt a little too sweet for my palate.

  157. User avatar Crystal Ball says:

    4 stars
I followed it exactly and it tasted great. I used chilled orange juice and chilled sparkling wine, and that made a big difference. Would make again!

    1. User avatar emmanuel.mccullough says:

      5 stars
Love that you tried it chilled—makes total sense with a mimosa. 🍊🥂 Glad it turned out great!

  158. User avatar candace.schmitt says:

    2 stars
I tried this and my mimosa looked flat after a few minutes. Maybe my champagne wasn’t cold enough. Flavor was okay, presentation got sad.

  159. 2 stars
1 bottle champagne? that’s not enough for me lol. also can you use just orange soda? (kidding… kinda).

  160. 5 stars
This is dangerously easy. Like… could I mess it up? I added a splash of triple sec and it was even nicer.

    1. 3 stars
I don’t know… I think adding triple sec changes the whole flavor. Also you said “1 bottle” but like… what size? I once did it and it tasted too bitter, maybe I used the wrong champagne.

    2. User avatar Dremora Lord says:

      5 stars
Honestly, that’s kinda the point 😂 As long as you’re not wildly overdoing the pour, it’s hard to mess up. Triple sec might make it a bit sweeter—yum.
