Ingredients
- 250 grams gnocchi store-bought or homemade
- 2 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper freshly ground
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook according to package instructions, until they float to the top. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic oil.
- Add the chopped basil and parsley to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Stir in the lemon juice and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional herbs if desired.

Gnocchi taste like little pillows of joy! But why lemon? Seems weird. Still, I might give it a shot.
I tried this but it turned out kinda bland. Maybe more salt or herbs would help? Not bad but I expected better.
