Delicious homemade chocolate-covered cherries with a sweet and juicy cherry center encased in smooth, rich chocolate.

Ingredients
  

  • 20 Cherries fresh, pitted
  • 200 grams Dark chocolate chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut oil optional

Instructions
 

  • Dry the cherries thoroughly after pitting them to ensure the chocolate adheres properly.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  • Dip each cherry into the melted chocolate, coating it completely, and place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Refrigerate the chocolate-covered cherries until the chocolate is set, about 15 minutes.
