Baked Brie with Blackberry Jam
A delicious and easy-to-make appetizer featuring creamy Brie cheese topped with sweet blackberry jam, all wrapped in a delicate puff pastry and baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- 1 wheel Brie cheese standard size, about 8 ounces
- 2 tablespoons blackberry jam or jam of your choice
- 1 sheet puff pastry thawed if frozen
- 1 egg beaten for egg wash
- 1 tablespoon water to mix with the egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface to ensure it’s even.
- Place the Brie wheel in the center of the pastry. Top the Brie with blackberry jam.
- Fold the puff pastry up and around the Brie, sealing it well, and trimming any excess pastry if necessary.
- Mix the beaten egg with water to make an egg wash, then brush the surface of the wrapped Brie with the egg wash.
- Place the wrapped Brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

I dunno, I thought it would be more melty? It was kinda dense. Maybe I didn’t bake it long enough?

Nah, I think brie is overrated. I put craft cheese instead and it was better. Just my opinion.
