Looking for a healthy dinner that’s both elegant and easy to make? These turkey and asparagus bundles are the answer. Lean turkey cutlets wrapped around crisp-tender asparagus spears create a dish that feels fancy enough for guests but simple enough for a weeknight meal.
This recipe starts with thinly sliced turkey breast, which cooks quickly and stays tender. You season each piece lightly with salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of garlic or Italian herbs. Then comes the star of the show, fresh asparagus. The spears are trimmed and blanched briefly so they stay vibrant and slightly crunchy after baking.
To assemble, you roll the asparagus inside the turkey slices, securing each bundle with a toothpick or a piece of kitchen twine. A quick sear in a skillet gives the turkey some color, and then the bundles finish cooking in the oven, keeping them juicy and flavorful.
For extra flavor, consider brushing the bundles with a bit of Dijon mustard or drizzling them with lemon juice before roasting. You can even add a thin slice of cheese or a layer of prosciutto inside for a savory twist.
These bundles pair beautifully with mashed cauliflower, a grain salad, or a simple side of roasted potatoes. They also work great as a meal prep option, easy to reheat and full of lean protein and fiber.
Perfect for spring or any time asparagus is in season, this dish is a lovely way to highlight fresh ingredients while keeping things light and satisfying. Whether you’re trying to eat clean, follow a low-carb lifestyle, or just want to serve something pretty and delicious, turkey and asparagus bundles deliver on all fronts.
Turkey and Asparagus Bundles pair lean, savory turkey with crisp, tender asparagus Asparagus to create a balanced dish that highlights both texture and flavor. The mild, juicy richness of turkey complements the earthy, slightly sweet notes of asparagus, while wrapping them together enhances presentation and ensures even cooking. Often seasoned with herbs, garlic, or light sauces, this pairing delivers a nutritious, protein-rich meal that feels both elegant and satisfying, making it ideal for dinner parties or wholesome everyday dining.

Wow, so fancy! I never knew I could make something like this at home!
Easy peasy! I appreciated how quick it was to prep.
Loved the idea but not a fan of asparagus. Substituted with green beans and it worked great!
Green beans are a solid swap! I hate asparagus too. Glad it turned out well for you!
yummmy!!! So good I made it twice this week!!🔥
I tried this, but the bacon didn’t get crispy enough. Maybe I did something wrong? 🤔
I agree! It’s super easy and tastes amazing. My family loved it too! 😍
I tried this and it was a bit bland. I think it needs more seasoning. Maybe some garlic or herbs would help.
I feel like the asparagus got too mushy. Maybe just steam them first??
Is this how you do it? I’m just a beginner cook, but I think I nailed it! Yummy!
I don’t know, looks a bit undercooked to me with all that bacon. Are you sure it’s safe to eat? 🤔
Great job! Looks delicious! As a beginner, I think you’ve done really well. Keep it up! 🍽️
Bacon and turkey? I’m in! But I think next time I might use chicken instead.
I tried this but the turkey was kind of dry. Maybe I cooked it too long?
Delicious!! 😍
I didn’t like asparagus but the turkey was okay. Not sure I’d make this again.
Turkey? You mean chicken, right? 😆 But looks tasty!
So simple! I didn’t have bacon so I used cheese instead and it was still good. 😊
Absolutely delicious! The bacon adds such great flavor. Will make again!
Yum! Perfect dinner for a busy weeknight. I used turkey bacon and it was still tasty!
Is it really 400F? Seems too hot for me. I’d go lower.
Cooking meat in the oven? Sounds too simple to be good.
Y’all, this takes too long to make! I’m so hungry now. Who has 25 mins to wait? I just microwaved leftovers instead.
This was soooo good! The family loved it. Will make again!
Meh, didn’t taste as good as I thought. Plus, the bacon was too greasy for my liking.
I thought it was pretty good! Maybe you just need to adjust seasoning or cook it longer? It’s worth trying again!
Super easy and delicious! Will make again for sure! 🙂
My kids didn’t like asparagus. Can I use green beans instead?
I tried this recipe and it was alright. The turkey was dry and the bacon didn’t crisp up like I wanted. Might stick to my old ways next time.
It was okay, but I thought it would be more flavorful. Maybe a marinade next time?
I totally agree! A good marinade would definitely amp up the flavor. I usually use some soy sauce and honey for my turkey dishes, super tasty!
Nah, I think it’s fine as is. You just gotta love the bacon flavor! Who needs a marinade?
The kids liked it! Quick and easy dinner, thanks for sharing.
I didn’t have bacon, so I used chicken instead. Wasn’t as good. 🤷♂️
Wow, this turned out great! The bacon made it extra tasty. Thanks for sharing!
Bacon makes everything better! This one’s a keeper.
Yum! I love the combo of turkey and bacon! So tasty! 👌🍴
Easy and delish! Will definitely make again! 🥳
I dunno, this seems too complicated. Who has time to wrap stuff? Just fry the turkey!
I totally get that! Wrapping can be a pain, but it adds flavor. Maybe try frying it once and see if you like it?
It was alright… not really my thing. I prefer my turkey with sauce.
Way too salty! I think I put too much seasoning. Be careful with that!
Good idea but too much salt! Next time I’ll use less.
This was amaaaazing! I never thought about wrapping turkey in bacon before. The asparagus added such a nice crunch! Definitely making this again.
Nah, I don’t really like turkey. Had to force myself to eat it.
LOL, I used chicken instead of turkey by mistake! Still turned out pretty good, just a tip for anyone else cooking. 😂
I tried this but the bacon didn’t crisp up for me. Maybe I need to cook it longer?
These look fancy but too much work for me! I just want to throw stuff in a pot, not wrap it like a present. 😂
Can you use chicken instead of turkey? I think my family would prefer chicken.
This recipe was a hit at my dinner party! The bacon adds so much flavor 😍
Seriously, this is the best recipe ever. Thank you for sharing!
You’re right! I tried it last night and it was a hit with my family. Thanks for sharing!
Turkey and bacon? How can you go wrong? 10/10!
I don’t get how you wrap turkey in asparagus… Sounds weird.
Tried it but forgot to set timer. Bacon burnt, turkey raw. Not great.
Sounds like a frustrating experience! Maybe try using a timer next time. It can really help. 🍳😅
This recipe was a hit at dinner! My family loved it, so tasty!
Sounds delicious! I’m definitely going to try this. Thanks for sharing!
Simple but nice, the bacon makes it interesting.
Simple and tasty. My kids loved it! Though, I forgot the salt 😅.
Not sure about bacon with turkey… seems off to me. Might try it without.
Super easy to make! I could do this one handed while holding a baby. Love it!
Really? This seems too simple. How can it be that easy? Must be missing something…
That’s awesome! You’re like a chef superhero! 🦸♀️ I can’t wait to try this and impress my friends.
Yum! But I used chicken instead of turkey. Still turned out fantastic!
Chicken works too! Glad it turned out well for you. 😊
Great recipe, I added a little garlic powder too. 😋
Garlic powder sounds like a tasty addition! I’ll have to try that next time. Thanks for sharing! 👍
This recipe is amazing! The bacon adds such a great flavor to the turkey. My family loved it!
This is the best! The bacon adds such flavor to the turkey and asparagus. Definitely making it again!
I dunno why they call it bundles. Looks more like weird rolls. Tasted ok tho.
Seems kinda fancy for me, but I bet the kids would eat it! Might give it a shot.
This dish sounds delicious! Kids love anything wrapped in bacon. Give it a try, I’m sure they’ll enjoy it!
Absolutely loved this! The bacon made it so delicious.
I tried this recipe but my bacon didn’t cook well. Maybe I did something wrong? 😕
Sorry to hear that! Sometimes bacon can be tricky. Did you use thick cut? They need a bit longer to cook.
Why do people wrap everything in bacon? Is this really necessary?
Not bad but took way longer than 25 minutes to cook. Is my oven broken?
Pretty good, but I think it could use some garlic for flavor.
My kids loved it! This is a keeper in my recipe book. Would recommend for all/anyone! 👌
I dunno, it seemed a bit bland. I would add more spices or a sauce on top.
I totally agree! I always add some garlic powder and paprika for more flavor. It makes a huge difference!
This was amazing! So yummy and easy to make. Will definitely make again!
I don’t know if turkey and bacon go together. Seems off to me.
Trust me, the combo is amazing! Turkey and bacon are both meats, they totally complement each other. You should give it a try!
I dunno, looks kinda dry. How about a sauce? 🤔
Wow, this looks delicious! Can’t wait to try it for dinner tonight.
Looks good, but turkey and bacon? I dunno, sounds weird to me. 🤔
Thanks! It’s super easy to make, hope you love it!
Simple and yum! Only thing I did different was add some cheese on top!
I’ve never cooked with asparagus before. Is it really that good? Someone told me it’s bitter?
Tried this recipe and it was easy and tasty! Will make again soon.
Didn’t really like the asparagus. Can I use broccoli instead? 🤔
Bacon is life! My bundles were huge though, didn’t cook evenly. More bacon next time?
This was amazing! The bacon added so much flavor. My family loved it!
Turkey and asparagus? Who even thought of that!? So weird but I guess it’s healthy?
Easy and pretty fancy for weeknights. I added a little garlic powder to the turkey and it really popped.
LOL, I accidentally bought beef bacon 😂 but it still tasted good.
Beef bacon? Seriously? I don’t think that’s a good swap for turkey. Just stick to the recipe!
Haha, beef bacon? That’s a new one! Bet it added a unique flavor to the recipe. Gotta try it sometime!
Super simple! But I think I’ll try it with different vegetables next time. Broccoli maybe?
I was skeptical about turkey and bacon together, but this was surprisingly good! The bacon adds so much flavor!
Isn’t turkey not very healthy? Bacon kinda ruins it, doesn’t it? I dont know, just seems weird to me.
Eh, it was okay. The bacon didn’t get crispy for me. Maybe my oven is too weak?
I don’t like asparagus, can I use something else? Asking for a friend.
You could swap the asparagus with green beans or even broccoli! That should work fine.
This is a winner! Healthy and delicious. I added some garlic powder for extra flavor!
I used chicken instead of turkey and it turned out fine. Still tasty!
So easy! I made it for dinner last night, and my kids loved it. Will definitely make again!
Really? I don’t think my kids would like it with the bacon. They don’t eat meat like that.
That’s awesome! My kids are picky, so I’m glad to hear they loved it! Gonna try it this weekend.
This made a mess in my kitchen! I mean, how do you wrap turkey with asparagus without everything falling apart? Not happy.
Easy and quick! My kids ate it all, so yes, I will make again.
Yum yum yum! My husband said this is a 10/10, but I had to tell him it’s only 5! 😂
Easy recipe! My whole family loved it. I used turkey thighs instead of fillets and it was still great.
My turkey packets kinda unraveled. Maybe my bacon strips were too short? I’ll use toothpicks next time.
Wasting bacon on turkey? Sounds wrong. I’d rather just eat the bacon. 😒
This is the best recipe ever! The turkey and asparagus go so well together. I added some garlic for extra flavor, and it was amazing!
I totally agree! The garlic really kicks it up a notch, right? Can’t wait to try it again!
Too salty for my taste. Maybe less salt next time? Also, what’s the point of asparagus?
I don’t get why you think asparagus is pointless! It’s got vitamins and stuff. But I agree, maybe try less salt next time. More flavor-less salt, right?
I don’t know… I mean it’s just turkey wrapped in bacon. Seemed kinda basic. Tasted good tho.
Basic? Nah, it’s a classic combo! But I get it, it’s not super fancy. Just tastes good!
It’s all about the flavors! Bacon makes everything better, right? 🤤
OMG so good. Made them for a dinner party and everyone was raving. Will def make again!
This was surprisingly good! The bacon adds such a nice flavor to the turkey and asparagus. My family loved it!
These are amazing! Had them for dinner last night, and my whole family loved them! Definitely making again.
Yum! I just used leftover turkey and it worked fine! Can’t wait to try this again!
That’s a great idea! I love using leftovers in new ways.
it good but 25 minutes was too long, my turkey got dry. next time i try less time
I had the same issue! Maybe the oven runs hotter than we think. I usually check mine at 20 minutes.
I dunno, the turkey was kinda dry for me. Maybe I cooked it wrong?
I tried this for dinner and it made my kitchen smell amazing!! 😍 Definitely a keeper recipe.
These came out super juicy—especially with the bacon crisping up. I added a squeeze of lemon at the end and it was perfect.
These turned out amazing! The bacon adds such a nice flavor to the turkey and asparagus. Will definitely make again!
What kind of turkey is this??? I thought it was chicken until I read the recipe. Smh.
Delicious!
I found this hard to make. The bacon kept falling off and it was a mess. Maybe I’m just a bad cook?
Not gonna lie, asparagus + bacon + turkey is a winning combo. My whole family ate it without complaining 😂
Totally agree—this combo is legit. 😂 The bacon crisping up on turkey makes it so much better. Definitely trying it next week!
Sounds good but 25 minutes feels kinda short for turkey, especially if the fillets are thick. I’d check internal temp—otherwise it might be dry. Still, love the asparagus + bacon idea.
Pretty simple recipe, but I think it could use some spices for more flavor. It was a bit bland for my taste.
I tried it and it was meh. Bacon tasted salty and turkey needed more seasoning. 2/5 from me.
Used chicken instead of turkey and it was still yumm! I think a lil cheese inside would be nice.
Sounds good! Chicken is a great substitute. Cheesy pics!
Idk… turkey breast tends to be dry. Also asparagus cooks fast, so I was worried it’d be mushy. Mine was kinda overcooked but the flavors were solid.
Yeah, turkey can totally dry out at 400°F. 25 minutes might be a bit long depending on thickness—next time I’d start checking around 18–20 min. If the asparagus got mushy, you could also blanch it for like 30 seconds first or use thicker spears.
Came out bland until I salted a little more. The instructions say salt and pepper ‘to taste’ which is fair, just letting folks know.
These turned out so juicy—didn’t expect turkey to stay this tender. The bacon crisped perfectly at 25 minutes for me.
Not bad, but 25 minutes might be long for thin turkey slices. Mine dried out slightly even though the bacon was great. Still, I’d make it again with a timer check earlier.
Mine were a bit dry. I think my oven runs hot, so next time I’ll start checking at like 18 minutes.
This is good, but I wish it included whether to flip the bundles or rotate the pan. I think mine browned unevenly.
Good point—mine did brown unevenly too. I’d suggest rotating the baking sheet halfway through (around 12–13 minutes) so the browning evens out. Flipping the bundles is probably optional since the bacon will crisp as it renders, but if yours is getting dark on one side, you can gently turn them once.
Five stars. Seriously—super quick and feels restaurant-level.
Five stars. Seriously—this is way too easy for how good it tastes. I did it exactly and the bacon was crispy like you said. Definitely making again!
Simple and looks fancy. The bake time was about right for my oven. Next time I’ll trim the asparagus a bit more so they don’t get too soft.
I followed it pretty closely, but the bacon didn’t get crispy for me. I had to broil for 2-3 minutes—still delicious though.
Ugh I hate when bacon won’t crisp—sounds like your broiler save was on point though. I’ve found thickness of the bacon matters a lot; next time try a higher oven or start the broiler for the last minute earlier.
Maybe your bacon was too thick? Mine gets crispy at 400 for 25 min but I always use thin-cut. Also 2-3 minutes broil is kinda risky—burn fast—so just watch it. Delicious either way 😄
