When the craving for pizza hits but you don’t want to commit to a whole pie, pepperoni pizza snacks are the perfect solution. These bite-sized creations deliver all the cheesy, saucy, pepperoni-packed goodness of a traditional pizza in a more fun and shareable form.
Ideal for parties, game nights, after-school snacks, or late-night munchies, pepperoni pizza snacks are incredibly versatile. You can find them in all kinds of forms, from crispy pizza rolls and mini calzones to puff pastry pinwheels and biscuit bombs oozing with mozzarella. What they all have in common is that irresistible combination of melted cheese, zesty tomato sauce, and that classic cured pepperoni flavor.
One of the best parts of pepperoni pizza snacks is how easy they are to make. You can go homemade with store-bought dough and your favorite toppings, or grab frozen versions that bake up golden and gooey in minutes. If you’re hosting a gathering, set out a tray with a side of warm marinara or ranch for dipping and you’ve got an instant crowd-pleaser.
They also make a great addition to kids’ lunchboxes or a quick snack before dinner. You can even put a healthier spin on them by using whole wheat dough or adding chopped veggies for a little extra nutrition.
Pepperoni pizza snacks are more than just a bite. They’re a mini celebration of everything people love about pizza, packed into a small, satisfying, and totally crave-worthy treat. Whether you’re indulging solo or sharing with friends, they hit the spot every single time.

Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup pepperoni chopped
- 1 tbsp parmesan cheese grated
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Unroll the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface.
- Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese, chopped pepperoni, grated Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes (if desired) over the sauce.
- Starting from one edge, roll the dough tightly into a log.
- Using a sharp knife, slice the log into 1-inch (2.5 cm) thick slices.
- Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the pizza snacks are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Enjoy!
Pretty tasty, but I think they needed more spice. Maybe next time I’ll add jalapeños.
Could not get them to “roll tightly” with the refrigerated dough I had—kept tearing. Maybe my dough was too warm. Ended up as pizza spirals anyway and they were tasty.
Not bad, but I don’t get why you need crushed red peppers. Seems extra. Just stick to the basics.
The instructions say to leave a border on the dough, but when I rolled it, the border disappeared and everything oozed out. They still tasted amazing though—just messier.
These are a hit at my family gatherings! Super easy to make and taste delicious! ❤️
But wait, isn’t it kinda just like making pizza? What’s so special about it? 🤔

I’m so glad to hear that! I made these for my kids and they devoured them too! 😋
5 stars if you like salty snacks. I thought it’d be too cheesy but it was fine. Also I didn’t cool them long enough and burned my tongue… worth it.
I don’t eat pepperoni. Can I use veggies instead? What do you think?
I dunno, this seems too simple. I expected more flavor.
just like those frozen ones but homemade! Deffo making again!
Tried these tonight—so easy and they taste way more “pizza” than the effort suggests. The edges get crispy and the pepperoni curls are perfect. Will make again for game night!
Are these even real pizza? I thought we were making pizza rolls, not whatever this is.
Yum! I added some bell peppers and it was delicious. Perfect for game night!
