Halloween Stuffed Bell Peppers are a creative and fun twist on the classic stuffed pepper dish, perfect for adding some spooky flair to your Halloween menu. These peppers are not only a tasty and healthy option but also a festive way to celebrate the season with colorful, spooky designs. Filled with savory ingredients like seasoned ground beef or turkey, rice, and vegetables, they offer a satisfying meal with a Halloween twist. Whether you’re serving them for a family dinner or at a Halloween party, these stuffed peppers will surely be a hit!
To make Halloween Stuffed Bell Peppers, begin by cutting the tops off of orange bell peppers, which provide a vibrant, Halloween-inspired color. Scoop out the seeds and membranes, creating a hollow space ready to be filled. For the stuffing, use a flavorful combination of ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken), cooked rice, sautéed onions, garlic, and your favorite spices. You can add vegetables like diced tomatoes, corn, or black beans to make the stuffing even more hearty and flavorful.
To add a spooky touch, use a knife or small cookie cutter to carve faces or other Halloween-themed designs into the bell peppers, just like a jack-o’-lantern. These carved designs allow the light from the oven to shine through, creating a fun and festive effect. Once your peppers are filled, place them in a baking dish and top with shredded cheese. Bake them in the oven until the peppers are tender, the cheese is melted, and the flavors are perfectly combined.
For an extra Halloween touch, you can garnish the stuffed peppers with additional fun elements. Serve them with a side of “bloody” tomato sauce or create “witch’s potion” with a simple green dip like guacamole or spinach dip. Adding some edible eyes or other spooky-themed toppings will make the stuffed peppers look even more festive.
Halloween Stuffed Bell Peppers are not only a fun way to serve a savory dish but also a creative way to engage the kids in the kitchen. You can make them ahead of time and bake them when you’re ready to serve. These peppers are also highly customizable to fit your dietary needs, whether you prefer vegetarian options or a meat-filled version.

OMG! I took these to my Halloween party and everyone was raving about them! Definitely a keeper!
Great for the Halloween party! I carved fancy faces on them. Everyone was impressed.
Recipe easy, but peppers not soft enough after 30 mins. Need more time 😩
I used turkey instead of beef and added some beans. It was delicious!
Luv the recipe! Cheese was gooey and perfect. Will make again!
So good! I subbed the beef for turkey and added some corn. Yummy!
Sounds great! Turkey and corn is a fun twist! Never thought of that. 😊
These are so cute! My kids loved them, plus we had a fun time making the faces. Definitely a Halloween hit! 🎃
Very fun dish for Halloween! My daughter thought they looked like real Jack o’ Lanterns. Will be making again!
These are not only spooky but delish! Made them twice already!! 👏
These are the cutest peppers I’ve ever made! My kids loved them, and we had fun carving the faces!
LOL, I thought this was gonna be like a soup or something, not stuffed peppers. Still, they were tasty!
These peppers are great for Halloween! Perfect for the spooky season!
Honestly, I thought stuffed peppers would be boring. But I gotta admit, they taste better than they look!
Honestly, this recipe seems way too simple. Can it really be that good?
Horrible! My peppers fell apart and everything spilled out 😩 Never doing this again.
I’m sorry to hear that! Maybe try a different recipe next time? It’s tricky sometimes.
I didn’t have cheese at home but they still turned out yum! Adding hot sauce next time.
That’s great to hear! I think the hot sauce will really jazz it up!
Is it really a stuffed pepper if it’s not stuffed with something sweet? Just sayin’.
I tried this recipe, but my peppers fell apart when I baked them. Not sure what I did wrong.
Great pumpkin alternatives! But I added some chili powder for kick! Awesome!
Just OK, needs more flavor. Maybe more spices or herbs would help. Not very Halloween-y either.
Like them but the recipe didn’t mention where to get orange peppers? I just found green ones. Taste different?
Not for me. Peppers are gross, never liked ’em. Why would you stuff a vegetable anyway?
I tried this recipe but it tasted kinda bland. Maybe more spices next time? 🤔
I agree! I added some cumin and paprika, and it made a huge difference! 🌶️
So simple! I didn’t have garlic powder so I used fresh garlic, still yum!
These look so cute! I made them for my kids and they loved it! 🍴🎃
I also made these for my kids! They had a blast! 🎉
I cant trust this. Bell peppers for Halloween? Seems off… 😕
I think they’re cute! It’s a fun twist for Halloween. 🎃
Not sure about that… so weird to use bell peppers when you could have a pumpkin! 🤨
Super easy recipe! I used leftover chicken instead of beef because that’s what I had. Still turned out good!
Great idea using leftover chicken! That’s what cooking is all about—using what you have. I’ll have to give that a try, thanks!
Yum! I’ve made these for years, but never thought of adding cheese on top. Game changer! Thanks for the tip!
I don’t know if browning beef is necessary. Don’t you just boil it or something? Anyway, it was okay but a bit bland.
These are super cute! My kids loved them! 🎃
They look cute, but aren’t bell peppers too spicy for kids? 🤔
I’m so glad to hear that! 🎉 My kids loved them too. We had a blast making them together!
Are these really healthy? I mean, yea they have veggies but the cheese and beef?? Idk 🤷♂️
Honestly, I think it’s all about balance. If this is an occasional treat, it can be perfectly fine in moderation!
But the cheese is so good! Can’t go wrong with a little indulgence, right?
These turned out amazing! My kids loved the spooky faces! 🎃
So glad to hear that! 🎉 These are perfect for Halloween! Did you add any extra spices?
Not that great, peppers were a bit mushy. 😕
I had the same problem! Maybe try less baking time next time? Just a thought! 👍
Just what I needed for Halloween! They look so fun and scary. 🧡
These look so awesome! Can’t wait to make them for my Halloween party! 🎃
But are bell peppers even spooky? I dunno about these..
Disappointing!!! The rice soaked up all the sauce! Was expecting more flavor, kinda taste like cardboard.
Too complicated. Who has time to carve faces into peppers? Might just stick to regular stuffed peppers next time. 😩
Can you really call these Halloween stuffed!? They look like regular peppers.
They do look like regular peppers, but they’re still cute! I think they can be festive with the right decoration. 🎃
Just because they look like peppers don’t mean they ain’t Halloween! It’s all about the stuffing, right?
Pepper stuffed with rice and meat…not into it. I prefer pizza. 😅
Easy to make, but I forgot to cover my peppers, and now they’re all dried out. Oops!
Don’t worry! It happens to the best of us. Just add some sauce next time and they’ll be fine!
Eh, tastes okay but my friend said it’s not authentic.
