Grilled Mediterranean Salmon is a perfect blend of health and taste, ideal for weeknight dinners or weekend gatherings. This dish brings the bright, vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean coast straight to your plate with minimal effort and maximum flavor.
The star of the dish is, of course, the salmon, rich in omega-3 fatty acids and naturally tender. It’s marinated in a simple yet flavorful mix of extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and classic Mediterranean herbs like oregano, thyme, and parsley. This marinade not only enhances the flavor but also helps keep the fish moist during grilling.
Once marinated, the salmon is grilled over medium-high heat, allowing the outside to develop beautiful char marks while the inside stays flaky and juicy. The smoky flavor from the grill complements the freshness of the marinade perfectly. For best results, leave the skin on while grilling to help retain moisture and prevent sticking.
Serve the grilled salmon with a light cucumber and tomato salad, a side of couscous or orzo, or some grilled vegetables like zucchini and bell peppers. A dollop of tzatziki or a drizzle of tahini dressing adds an extra layer of Mediterranean flair.
This dish is not only delicious but also incredibly nutritious—packed with protein, healthy fats, and bright, natural ingredients. Whether you’re entertaining or looking for a quick and healthy dinner, Grilled Mediterranean Salmon is a wholesome, satisfying choice that’s sure to please everyone at the table.

I accidentally forgot to put the lemon slices on (oops), still tasted great. Might be even better with lemon obviously, but the olives + sun-dried tomatoes carried it hard.
Omg that’s honestly hilarious 😂 but I can totally see how the olives + sun-dried tomatoes + feta would do most of the work flavor-wise. Next time you’ll nail it with the lemon slices though—worth it!
Too much garlic!! Can’t taste anything else! 😖
I think the garlic adds a great flavor! Just cut back a bit next time. 👍
I had to use canned olives instead of fresh. Still tasted great, but I don’t think it turned out as good as it should have.
Not sure about the lemon slices on top—mine slid around and made the fish a bit “wet.” I ended up putting lemon on the side and it was better. Still a decent idea.
Seems too complicated for a busy weekday. Just grilled some plain salmon instead.
Absolutely delicious! The flavors are amazing, my family loved it!
Looks good, but is salmon really that healthy? I mean, it’s fish but still has calories.🤔
I’m so glad to hear that! This recipe is a family favorite for sure. What did you serve it with?
Super easy recipe! I made it last night and it was delicious 😋.
I’m glad you enjoyed it! The feta really adds a nice kick, doesn’t it? 😄
What is sun-dried tomato? Sounds fancy, I just used ketchup…
Sun-dried tomatoes are just dried tomatoes! They kinda taste sweet and tangy, way better than ketchup! You should try it!
I don’t get why you’d put feta on salmon. Seems weird to me.
Good but maybe a bit too salty for me. Next time I’ll skip the added salt.
