I was skeptical about onion soup mix + mustard + Worcestershire, but it somehow works. Family went back for seconds.

  2. 5 stars
Made this last night—super tasty and moist. I was skeptical about microwave meatloaf, but the juices really did run clear. The A-1 zig-zag is the move.

Too much onion soup mix! It overpowered everything. I couldn’t enjoy it. Probably won’t make again.

  4. 4 stars
I don’t know about 20-35 minutes in a microwave. My loaf took way longer—like almost 45. Still safe though, once I checked the temp.

  5. User avatar Hasimir Fenring says:

    4 stars
Not bad at all! I used regular bread crumbs instead of Panko and it still worked. Next time I’ll maybe cut the salt a bit because the onion soup mix is salty.

    1. User avatar jong.barton says:

      5 stars
Glad it worked with regular breadcrumbs! Cutting back the salt makes sense—onion soup mix can be super salty. Next time maybe start with half and taste the mix before baking/microwaving.

  6. User avatar inocencia.rutherford53 says:

    3 stars
Not bad, but the A-1 topping was a little too sweet/tangy for me. Next time I’d use less Worcestershire or add more white pepper.

  7. 2 stars
I followed the recipe to a T but it turned out dry. I think I might have overcooked it. 😕

    1. User avatar Allen Hoppe says:

      4 stars
I feel you! Meatloaf can be tricky, especially in the microwave. Maybe try less time next time?

    2. User avatar trey.conn says:

      2 stars
Overcooked it? Nah, my meatloaf always turns out fine. Maybe you need a better microwave or something?

  8. User avatar kirby.reichel1952 says:

    4 stars
The A-1 zig-zag topping idea is weirdly genius. Smells awesome while microwaving. Only thing: my microwave took closer to 35 minutes for 165°F.

  9. User avatar karlyn.keebler2012 says:

    4 stars
Forgot to rest it 5 minutes and it crumbled a bit. Don’t skip that part—resting matters!

  10. User avatar Lakna Rokee says:

    5 stars
This is the first time my meatloaf didn’t taste like “plain ground meat.” The herbs de Provence really came through. 10/10 with mashed potatoes.

  11. 3 stars
Tried it and it came out kinda dry. I think I overcooked because I trusted the timing—next time I’m going by thermometer only. Flavor was still decent.

  12. 3 stars
Not sure about Turkish meatloaf… feels more like an American meatloaf with seasonings. Still, the flavor is solid. I’d probably reduce the salt from the onion soup mix.

  13. User avatar jarrett.boyer says:

    3 stars
Not gonna lie—“Turkish Meatloaf” feels like a marketing name for an American-style meatloaf with onion soup mix. Still tasty though, especially with the A-1 zig-zag top lol.

  14. 3 stars
I’m skeptical about microwaving a meatloaf, ngl. But the instructions were pretty clear, and the inside cooked through. Texture was a little softer than oven-baked, though.

  15. User avatar leoma.ratke2026 says:

    2 stars
Wait, microwave on high?? I baked mine at 350 like a sane person and it turned out way better. Maybe the microwave version is fine, but I’m not convinced.

  16. 3 stars
Microwaving meatloaf? Really? That’s not how my grandma did it.. but I tried it and it worked. Crazy!

  17. User avatar jaimee.zieme33 says:

    3 stars
How do legums go with meatloaf? Just asking for a friend. Any vegan recipes?

  18. 5 stars
This was amazing! I never thought turkey could taste so good in a meatloaf. Family loved it!

  19. 3 stars
Why do I need to use ‘Herb de Provance’? I don’t even know what that is. Just using Italian seasoning.

  20. 3 stars
I followed it exactly and mine came out kind of dense. Could be my microwave runs hot? Flavor was good though—nice savory vibe.

  21. User avatar lacy.gerhold89 says:

    2 stars
1 lb turkey + 1 lb chicken?? That’s a lot. Also I accidentally used 2 tsp mustard instead of 1 Tbsp—kinda spicy but not terrible.

  22. User avatar marion.roob93 says:

    4 stars
My kids loved it! Mixed it all up and they couldn’t even tell it was turkey and chicken. Thanks for the recipe!

  23. User avatar rickey.fahey says:

    5 stars
I made this exactly as written and it turned out juicy. The onion soup mix + Worcestershire combo is doing the heavy lifting. A-1 zig-zag on top is a little weird but totally works—great flavor!

  24. User avatar Falmer Nightprowler says:

    2 stars
Not what I expected. The garlic flavor was too strong for me. I think I’ll stick to traditional recipes.

    1. User avatar Dro'marash says:

      4 stars
I understand where you’re coming from! Garlic can be pretty overpowering sometimes. Have you tried using less or maybe roasting it first? It can mellow the flavor a lot.

    2. 2 stars
Nah, garlic ain’t too strong if you ask me. That’s what makes it good! But if ya like tradish stuff, that’s cool too.

  25. User avatar harlan.mckenzie says:

    2 stars
It was alright but I like my meatloaf more traditional. The A-1 sauce was weird. I struggled with it.

  26. User avatar rick.mraz41 says:

    4 stars
My husband loves A-1 sauce! It was perfect on top. Definitely a keeper. 👍

  27. User avatar edison.weber23 says:

    3 stars
So easy to make, but I didn’t like the microwaving part. Meatloaf should be baked, right? Not for me.

  28. User avatar lilly.altenwerth80 says:

    5 stars
OMG! Best meatloaf ever!!! So easy to make. 10/10 recommend!

  29. User avatar Spriggan Matron says:

    4 stars
No lie, my loaf stuck to the bowl a bit. I think I should’ve lined it. Flavor was good despite that.

  30. 2 stars
Why Herb de Provance with meatloaf? I tried it and it tasted kinda perfumey. Would rather just do Italian seasoning.

    1. User avatar robby.bins57 says:

      3 stars
Herb de Provence is fine, but 1 tbsp is a LOT. My first try tasted like “perfume” too and I swore it was the onion soup mix overpowering. Lower it to like 1 tsp-2 tsp and you’ll be good. Also microwaving 20-35 min—kinda seems off—loaf usually needs longer in an oven imo.

    2. User avatar landon.osinski54 says:

      4 stars
I get what you mean—Herbes de Provence can come off a little floral with poultry. I think Italian seasoning (or just oregano + thyme) would be a better match for the turkey/chicken combo. Next time I’d also use a bit less than 1 tbsp and see.

  31. User avatar Miss Ken Morar says:

    2 stars
Meh, wasn’t that great. I’ll stick with my mom’s recipe. Too much garlic I think.

  32. User avatar Rayna Legros says:

    5 stars
Made this last night—easy and super flavorful. The dried onion soup mix really does the heavy lifting. I followed the microwave timing and hit 165°F, juicy and not dry.

  33. 4 stars
I was skeptical about microwaving a meatloaf, but it actually worked. Mine took closer to 35 minutes though (microwave’s weak). Resting helped a lot.

    1. User avatar paris.fay says:

      5 stars
That’s actually pretty reassuring—microwaving meatloaf sounds wild to me but “weak microwave” tracks. Good call on resting too; letting it sit makes it less dry. I’ll try it but maybe keep an eye closer to 35 min.

  34. User avatar clifton.okon says:

    4 stars
I followed it exactly, except I used ketchup instead of A-1. Still delish!

    1. User avatar tobias.schmeler64 says:

      3 stars
Ketchup?! Really? I mean, to each their own I guess, but that sounds weird. Wouldn’t it taste too sweet?

  35. User avatar Draugr Scourge says:

    5 stars
This meatloaf was juicy and full of flavor! The A-1 sauce added a nice tang. Will definitely make again!

  36. User avatar ArabianNights says:

    4 stars
Very easy to make. Just mixed everything and zapped it in the microwave. Kinda cool!

  37. 1 star
My kids didn’t eat it. They said it tasted funny. I’m not sure what went wrong.

  38. 3 stars
Is it just me or does anyone else think this needs more seasoning? Like, where’s the flavor at? Very bland! 3/5 stars.

    1. User avatar susie.harvey98 says:

      5 stars
I totally agree! I added some extra herbs and spices, and it made a huge difference. Definitely needs a kick!

    2. 2 stars
Nah, I think it has enough flavor! Maybe you just need to season your plate more? Plus, I love A-1 on it. 😋

  39. User avatar tamra.hessel2005 says:

    3 stars
I don’t really do microwave meatloaf… I’m sure it works but I prefer oven roasting. That said, the ingredient list is great and I’d adapt it for the oven easily.

  40. 5 stars
Quick, easy, and full of flavor! Who knew ground turkey and chicken combo could be so delicious? Cooking it in the microwave is genius!

  41. User avatar emanuel.larson52 says:

    4 stars
Easy and quick! Can’t believe it’s microwaved. Saved time and tasted good. Thanks!

  42. User avatar Gaius Helen Mohiam says:

    4 stars
This tastes like a classic meatloaf vibe with a Middle Eastern-ish twist? (Not sure why I’m saying that lol.) Garlic and herbs were strong in a good way.

    1. User avatar arnulfo.hudson50 says:

      3 stars
Interesting take 😅 I don’t really taste Middle Eastern notes though. More like classic meatloaf with Worcestershire. Also microwaving 20–35 min… isn’t that gonna be kinda dry?

    2. 5 stars
Haha I get what you mean! The garlic/herbs + onion soup mix can totally give that “meatloaf but not boring” vibe. I usually add a little extra black pepper too.

  43. 5 stars
This meatloaf was a hit with my family! Never thought turkey and chicken could taste this good together. I’ll be making it again for sure! 😋

  44. User avatar reuben.stroman says:

    4 stars
I was skeptical about microwaving the meatloaf. I prefer to bake it, you know? But it turned out good for a quick meal.

  45. 5 stars
Tried this and it actually tastes like a proper meatloaf—garlic, herbs, and that A-1 zig-zag on top is such a move. I cooked it closer to 30 min in my microwave and it hit 165°F. Will make again!

  46. User avatar tressa.wilkinson says:

    5 stars
Made this tonight—super juicy and flavorful. The onion soup mix + Worcestershire combo is money. I used a little extra parsley and it tasted like comfort food from a Turkish auntie (or at least my imagination).

  47. User avatar bradly.lindgren30 says:

    1 star
Is it just me or does turkey not belong in meatloaf? I use beef or pork if I make it. This seems weird.

  48. 1 star
Yuck! Meatloaf should be baked, not microwaved! Who does that? Really disappointed.

  49. User avatar davis.johnston says:

    5 stars
I loved this recipe! Super tasty! I added some diced bell peppers for extra flavor.

  50. 5 stars
Tried this and it turned out juicy—not dry like some turkey meatloafs. The onion soup mix is doing the heavy lifting. I used regular breadcrumbs and it was still great.

    1. User avatar liberal.hero says:

      5 stars
Yes!! The onion soup mix really is the flavor MVP here. Glad it stayed juicy for you—love that you used regular breadcrumbs too.

  51. User avatar Walker Howell says:

    1 star
Meatloaf? In the microwave? Nah, sounds weird. I couldn’t bring myself to try it. 1 star.

  52. 5 stars
165°F is key—meat thermometer saved me. I like that it says to rest 5 minutes too; it actually improves slicing.

    1. User avatar charlott.wunsch says:

      5 stars
Yes!! The temp check is the whole game. I’ve overcooked turkey meatloaf before—resting 5 min sounds small but it totally helps it slice clean.

    2. User avatar Slaughterfish says:

      4 stars
165°F is okay, but I always go by time 😅 Like 30 minutes in the oven usually works. Microwave timings are so random tho… still, I guess I’ll get a thermometer. Resting 5 min? I always forget that part lol

  53. User avatar arnold.bergstrom86 says:

    1 star
This recipe is totally wrong! You can’t use chicken and turkey at the same time, it’s too confusing!

  54. User avatar patricia.senger says:

    5 stars
This is actually pretty clever, using a store-bought mix. Also, Herb de Provence in meatloaf?? I’m surprised I like it. Family asked for seconds.

  55. 2 stars
I dunno, microwaving meatloaf? Sounds off. Used the oven instead, came out okay but not great. Probably won’t try again.

  56. User avatar antwan.hessel1950 says:

    1 star
    meh

    1. User avatar Skip Roper says:

      2 stars
Meh 😐 I mean 1lb turkey + 1lb chicken is plenty, but dried onion soup mix + mustard + Worcestershire feels like too much going on. Still… I’d try once. How’s it turn out in a microwave though?

    2. User avatar Hotblack Desiato says:

      3 stars
Honestly “meh” is fair—microwaving meatloaf can be a little dry. I’d bake it instead for better texture, but the A-1 topping sounds legit.

  57. User avatar Frostbite Spider says:

    5 stars
Delicious! I added some grated cheese on top before microwaving. Super melty!

  58. User avatar hayden.streich60 says:

    3 stars
This recipe is missing something. Maybe some cheese would help? Idk, it’s just not quite there.

  59. User avatar stanton.predovic1970 says:

    2 stars
Meh. After reading the ingredients I was a bit confused. Can I just use regular onion instead of the soup mix?

  60. User avatar pablo.stehr22 says:

    2 stars
Is it really okay to microwave meat? Sounds kinda sketchy to me. I’d rather bake it.

  61. User avatar leonard.lueilwitz says:

    3 stars
The instruction formatting is weird—step 2 is missing and there’s HTML tags. Still cooked fine, but y’all could clean that up.

  62. User avatar len.wuckert says:

    4 stars
The flavor is good, but my microwave took closer to 45 minutes to get to temp. Keep an eye on the thermometer!

  63. User avatar dimple.ebert says:

    5 stars
Made this tonight—way juicier than my usual meatloaf. The dried onion soup mix + Worcestershire combo is *chef’s kiss*. Only change: I used fresh garlic and added a pinch of smoked paprika.

  64. User avatar sage.kris says:

    5 stars
Yum! My kids loved it. I didn’t have A-1, so I used ketchup and it was still great. Will make again for sure!

  65. User avatar rosaline.beatty53 says:

    5 stars
I used Panco bread crumbs (spelling? maybe) and added extra parsley. Turned out great, family asked for seconds. Definitely keeping this recipe.

    1. User avatar shayla.kreiger12 says:

      5 stars
Yes!! “Panco” totally makes sense—maybe we’re just all autocorrect victims 😄 Glad the extra parsley worked out and that your family wanted seconds. That’s the best kind of review!

  66. User avatar catherina.von55 says:

    5 stars
I was surprised how good this was! Never thought turkey and chicken could taste so good together. 5 stars!

  67. User avatar Majin Vegeta says:

    3 stars
Good for a lazy dinner night. Probably wouldn’t impress guests, but for family it works. Not bad!

  68. User avatar ivana.morar says:

    3 stars
I didn’t have Worcestershire, so I used soy sauce + a splash of vinegar. It was… fine? The flavor was different, but still edible. Might make again with the real thing.

  69. 5 stars
    5 stars. Easy.

    1. User avatar lisbeth.cronin says:

      3 stars
Easy but I’m skeptical about the microwave part… 20-35 min feels like it might dry it out. Did yours stay juicy? Maybe I’m just bad at microwaves 😅

    2. 5 stars
Right?? I tried this and it really is super easy. The A-1 zig-zag on top made it taste way more “restaurant” than I expected.

  70. User avatar evonne.kunde93 says:

    5 stars
Delicious! The A-1 sauce on top gave it a nice kick. I used real minced garlic instead of store-bought tho.

    1. User avatar latasha.aufderhar says:

      2 stars
I don’t think A-1 goes with turkey chicken mix. I use ketchup for my meatloaf. Makes more sense! Also microwaving??? No way.

    2. User avatar Lee Nover says:

      5 stars
I totally agree! A-1 really adds a unique flavor to meatloaf. And fresh garlic is always better than the jar stuff!

  71. 2 stars
Turkey/chicken meatloaf in a microwave… I’m skeptical. I tried it and the outside got kind of weirdly firm while the center was slow. Tasted okay though, just not the texture I wanted.

  72. 3 stars
This tastes good, but 2 tsp garlic feels like a typo? I followed it exactly and it was a little strong. Also, I forgot to rest it and the slices were crumbly—resting really matters.

  73. User avatar julio.cummings61 says:

    4 stars
I’ve never seen a meatloaf recipe like this, it sounds weird. But I’m willing to try it!

  74. User avatar nikia.oconner59 says:

    5 stars
This is giving Turkish vibes to me… in a good way? Like, not authentic probably but delicious. The mustard + Worcestershire combo is 🔥. 10/10 for flavor.

  75. User avatar wellRespected says:

    3 stars
I followed the recipe but my meatloaf turned out dry. Maybe it’s just my microwave!

  76. 4 stars
I used onion soup mix but didn’t have Herb de Provance, so I used Italian seasoning. Same idea, still tasted good.

  77. User avatar sydney.heaney1978 says:

    4 stars
Turkey/chicken combo is great for a lighter meatloaf. Not dry at all, and garlic actually tastes like something.

  78. 4 stars
I was skeptical about microwaving meatloaf (does it really set right?), but 30 minutes worked in my microwave. Used turkey only and it still tasted great. Will repeat.

  79. User avatar Yuri Christiansen says:

    2 stars
Cooked it for 20 min but it wasn’t done. Had to throw it back in. Watch out for the timing!

  80. User avatar eldridge.ruecker says:

    5 stars
Simple & quick! Was looking for an easy dinner option. This was perfect!!!

  81. User avatar cassandra.kozey98 says:

    2 stars
Sounds great, but isn’t meatloaf supposed to be baked? Microwaving seems off.

  82. User avatar Frostbite Spider says:

    5 stars
This meatloaf was surprisingly tasty! I added some veggies on the side. 5 stars!

  83. User avatar lakeesha.boyer says:

    3 stars
Microwave meatloaf feels wrong to me, lol. Still, if you don’t overcook it and check temp, it’s decent.

  84. User avatar alvin.carroll says:

    2 stars
This is not “Turkish” to me. Where are the spices, like cumin or paprika? It tastes more like an American meatloaf with A-1 vibes.

  85. 5 stars
Just made this—super juicy and the A-1 topping is a nice twist. I did add a little extra pepper because why not 😄

  86. User avatar porter.fahey says:

    5 stars
This is my new go-to! I added chopped parsley and it made it look way fancier. The A-1 on top caramelized a little and the whole loaf smelled amazing.

  87. User avatar reda.roob77 says:

    3 stars
I accidentally used regular breadcrumbs (not Panko) and it was denser, but it still tasted good. Next time I’ll stick to Panko. Also herb de Provence is such a random move but I don’t hate it.

  88. 4 stars
I’m skeptical about microwaving meatloaf for 20-35 mins—feels too easy? But it did set and not pink. Texture was kinda softer than oven-baked, but flavorful enough to forgive.

  89. 4 stars
Not bad, but “microwave until set” feels a little vague. Mine took closer to 35–40 min and I was checking constantly so it wouldn’t dry out. Still, the seasoning tastes legit Turkish-ish to me.

  90. User avatar janette.west says:

    3 stars
Uhh, what’s with the A-1 sauce? Can’t I use ketchup instead? I think it would be better.

  91. User avatar arletta.bartoletti says:

    2 stars
Honestly, I think microwave meatloaf is cheating. Oven gives better texture… But I’ll admit it was convenient.

  92. User avatar basilia.kunde56 says:

    3 stars
The seasoning balance was decent, but my loaf came out a little dry. I think next time I’ll add a splash more milk or maybe use less breadcrumbs. Also, “microwave on high” is a wide range—watch it.

  93. User avatar idella.schaden88 says:

    2 stars
Just a meatloaf, nothing special about it.

  94. 3 stars
The flavor is really good, but mine turned out a bit dry. I think my microwave is strong and I overcooked it. Next time I’ll pull it closer to 20 minutes and rest longer.

  95. 4 stars
Quick question: is 2% milk necessary? I only had oat milk, so I used that. Texture was fine, but the taste was slightly sweeter—maybe it needed more white pepper.

  96. User avatar austin.vandervort says:

    4 stars
I was skeptical about microwave meatloaf, but it actually worked. Took me closer to 35 minutes. Next time I’ll add a little ketchup on top instead of A-1 just because that’s what I’ve got.

    1. User avatar yajaira.rosenbaum2012 says:

      5 stars
Okay I’m impressed 😅 I’m usually anti-microwave meatloaf, but the “35 min” note is helpful. I’ll try the ketchup swap if I’m out of A-1.

  97. User avatar Jermaine Ortiz says:

    2 stars
I don’t trust store-bought onion soup mix in meat. Mine came out kinda salty and dry 😕. Maybe my breadcrumbs were too chunky.

    1. User avatar rosamaria.paucek44 says:

      4 stars
Ugh, sorry that happened 😕 Onion soup mix can definitely be a salt bomb. Next time I’d use less (or cut it and add some sautéed onion/garlic) and also make sure your breadcrumbs aren’t too dry/chunky—maybe pulse them finer or soak the mix with a splash of milk first.

  98. User avatar frederic.quigley2009 says:

    4 stars
Solid recipe but 20–35 minutes in the microwave feels a little optimistic depending on the wattage. Mine needed closer to 35–40 before it was cooked through. Still good though.

The A-1 zig-zag on top is genius. I was skeptical about the mustard + milk but it actually helps the loaf texture. Would make again, no question.

Glad it worked for you! I’ve always skipped the mustard + milk, but that texture boost makes sense—going to try it next time.

I followed the recipe pretty much exactly and it was… okay. The herb de Provence is overpowering for me. Also Panco breadcrumbs sounds wrong—am I missing something? 😂
