I’m so glad you liked it! The hazelnut liqueur really does make it special. Did you try any variations?

  2. 2 stars
I don’t know about this. Tiramisu should be coffee, not so much chocolate. Not the best!

  3. 5 stars
Mascarpone cheese is a fancy ingredient! I never tried it before, but I loved this dessert. Yummy!

Quick and easy! Perfect for a last-minute dessert. Thanks for sharing!

  6. 3 stars
It turned out ok, but my chocolate sauce was too thick 🤷‍♂️. I don’t usually cook fancy stuff.

YUM! So good! Made it for my mom and she loved it. Will definitely make again!

  9. 4 stars
One question: do the ladyfingers need to be completely soaked, or just a quick dunk? Mine dried out in the fridge a bit, so maybe I didn’t soak enough. Still tasty!

  10. 5 stars
The hazelnut liqueur is a game changer! Didn’t think I’d like it, but wow! So good! 🥳

    1. 3 stars
Really? Hazelnut liqueur? I thought it was just for fancy drinks, never tried in dessert. Not sure about that, but maybe I’ll give it a go.

I’m not a fan of coffee, so I skipped that step and used milk instead. Didn’t turn out great.

  15. User avatar jennie.carter91 says:

Just a tip: let it chill overnight for better flavor! Trust me!

  16. 3 stars
Mine didn’t set as nicely after 2 hours—maybe I whisked the mascarpone too gently? Still tasted good though. I’ll refrigerate longer next time.

    1. 4 stars
That sounds frustrating! If it didn’t set in 2 hours, I’d try chilling longer—often tiramisu needs more like 4–6 hours (or overnight). Also, whisking too much vs too little can both affect texture, but your “tasted good” is a great sign. Next time, make sure the mascarpone+sugar is really smooth before layering.

  17. User avatar dana.cummings1950 says:

    4 stars
Tiramisu is Italian, yeh? I thought it was French 😅 Anyway, turned out nice!

  18. User avatar NAFO.SUPREMACY says:

    5 stars
Yum! I made this for my family and they all loved it. So rich and satisfying!

  19. User avatar Hotblack Desiato's bodyguard says:

    3 stars
This recipe is confusing! Why do you need liqueur? I didn’t have any and it turned out fine without it.

  20. User avatar Jospeh Hauck MD says:

    5 stars
Yum!!! Everyone loved it at the party! Will definitely make it again! 🥰

  21. User avatar lou.heathcote says:

    4 stars
The hazelnut liqueur optional part is doing a lot of heavy lifting. With it, it’s like bakery tiramisu—without it feels a bit flat to me.

  22. User avatar Dollie O'Kon says:

    4 stars
I followed it pretty closely but my ladyfingers started falling apart after the dip. Next time I’ll dunk way faster—like 1 second—because the flavor was still great.

    1. 5 stars
Yep, that tracks—ladyfingers can turn into mush if they sit too long after dipping. A 1-second dunk sounds about right, especially since your coffee is strong. Next time I’d also try working in batches so they don’t wait around on the plate.

    2. User avatar Hasimir Fenring says:

      3 stars
I think 1 second is still too long… mine always falls apart if I dunk them at all. I usually just drizzle the coffee on top real quick and let it absorb. Maybe that’s the trick? Also coffee should be cold-cold, not just “cooled.”

  23. User avatar emerson.lakin51 says:

    3 stars
I followed the recipe but my ladyfingers disintegrated. Maybe I dipped them too long? Anyway, it still taste good, just messy!

  24. 5 stars
Wowww, this looks amazing! Gotta try it this weekend. 😋

  25. User avatar sherron.harris says:

    3 stars
The recipe is simple but I messed up the layering. Guess it’s just a chocolate mess now! 😂

  26. User avatar Major Schumm says:

    1 star
Why do people even like tiramisu? It’s just soggy biscuits. No thanks!

    1. User avatar Tom Bombadil says:

      4 stars
I gotta disagree! Tiramisu is so much more than soggy biscuits. It’s a perfect blend of coffee and creaminess. You should give it another shot!

  27. User avatar bobette.hessel says:

    2 stars
Not sure why everyone loves it. It was okay but too sweet for me. I think I’ll stick to the classic version.

  28. User avatar tegan.homenick1978 says:

    3 stars
Can I use regular chocolate instead of dark? I don’t like dark chocolate.

  29. User avatar loree.runolfsdottir says:

    3 stars
Easy to follow, but I accidentally left the coffee too hot and my ladyfingers disintegrated. Lesson learned! Still tasted ok.

  30. User avatar basementDweller says:

    4 stars
Hazelnut liqueur? I ain’t got that, is vanilla ok? Going to try it anyway!

    1. User avatar rozella.hahn65 says:

      4 stars
Vanilla should work fine! It might taste a bit different but still delicious. Can’t wait to see how yours turns out!

    2. User avatar refugio.powlowski2007 says:

      2 stars
Nah, vanilla ain’t the same! Hazelnut’s got a unique flavor. You might be missing out on the real deal.

  31. User avatar burt.schultz says:

    4 stars
It’s good but not as good as my mom’s! She always made the best! ❤️

  32. User avatar Tom Bombadil says:

    2 stars
My grandma makes better tiramisu. This was alright, but hers has a secret touch I can’t explain.

  33. User avatar shayne.schimmel says:

    1 star
This is just a copy of a traditional tiramisu but without eggs. Not a fan. 1 star.

  34. User avatar damon.simonis says:

    5 stars
Honestly? Mascarpone + dark chocolate is always a win. This tasted like a fancy cafe dessert. My kids asked for seconds, lol.

    1. User avatar leatha.greenholt1964 says:

      5 stars
Yes!! I’m convinced mascarpone makes everything taste expensive 😂 Also the coffee + dark chocolate combo is the best part. Glad your kids loved it!

    2. User avatar derick.grant98 says:

      3 stars
Interesting—mine always turns out a bit too bitter with dark chocolate. Maybe I should use less coffee? Or add more sugar? Either way I like the idea of hazelnut liqueur.

  35. 3 stars
I hate dark chocolate but this actually wasn’t too bad. Not my fave, though.

    1. User avatar jonah.nikolaus12 says:

      2 stars
How can you not love dark chocolate? It’s the best part! 😲

    2. User avatar myong.mayer1955 says:

      4 stars
Glad you gave it a try! I thought it was great, but everyone has their tastes. 🍫

  36. User avatar kandi.koss53 says:

    5 stars
This tiramisu is sooo delicious! I can’t believe how easy it was to make! 💖

  37. User avatar shirley.gutmann1981 says:

    4 stars
Sigh. 2 hours is not enough if your fridge is cold-ish. Wait longer or it won’t set. I’d say 4 hours minimum.

    1. User avatar charmaine.luettgen77 says:

      5 stars
Yeah, I’ve had it stay kinda soft when I only did 2 hours. My fridge runs colder too, so 4 hours seems safer for sure.

  38. User avatar tyree.pfeffer2018 says:

    2 stars
Can you replace the mascarpone with something else? I don’t know if I can find it in stores.

  39. User avatar wilbert.willms61 says:

    2 stars
I don’t understand why you would use such fancy cheese for dessert. Can’t we just use cream cheese instead?

  40. User avatar sol.effertz2023 says:

    2 stars
I followed this recipe exactly and mine turned out super runny. 😩 What did I do wrong?

  41. 3 stars
Just mediocre. I’ve had better tiramisu at restaurants. 🤷‍♂️

    1. User avatar mauricio.runolfsson1966 says:

      4 stars
I thought it was really good! Maybe you just weren’t a fan of the flavors? 🤔

    2. User avatar harry.gibson11 says:

      2 stars
Honestly, it ain’t that hard to make a better one. Just add more coffee or a bit more sugar, you know? 😏

  42. 2 stars
Ugh, why do people think chocolate and coffee go together? These flavors clash!

  43. User avatar yer.carroll1956 says:

    5 stars
Made this for a dinner and it disappeared fast. The hazelnut liqueur (even though I’m usually “meh” about alcohol) actually rounded everything out. Coffee-soaking time is key—mine were perfect after a quick dip.

  44. User avatar shantay.brakus says:

    3 stars
I followed it pretty closely, but my mascarpone split a little when whisking. Still tasted good though—just not as silky.

    1. User avatar lynna.robel says:

      5 stars
Ahh that sounds frustrating! I’ve had mascarpone do the same thing if it gets over-whisked or too warm. Next time try mixing gently just until smooth (and make sure it’s cold). Glad it still tasted good though—that’s the important part!

  45. User avatar meta.cartwright says:

    4 stars
Real tasty! But I added more chocolate because why not? Chocolate lover here! 🤤

    1. User avatar zachary.doyle92 says:

      3 stars
Ummm, adding more chocolate seems too much. Isn’t it already sweet enough?

    2. User avatar Alton Robel DVM says:

      5 stars
More chocolate? That’s genius! I might have to try that next time. 🍫

  46. User avatar Frostbite Spider says:

This tiramisu is amazing! The hazelnut liqueur gives it such a unique flavor! 5 stars!

  47. User avatar omer.homenick says:

    4 stars
I didn’t have ladyfingers so I used regular cake. Close enough, right? Still turned out great!

  48. User avatar deandre.emard24 says:

    5 stars
Tiramisu? More like tirami-YUM! 10/10 recommend.

  49. User avatar saul.cole says:

I tried making this but it didn’t turn out right…My ladyfingers got too soggy. What did I do wrong?

  50. User avatar Future Trunks says:

My kids wouldn’t eat it! They said tiramisu is weird. 😖

  51. User avatar roseanna.murphy1968 says:

    2 stars
I don’t get the fuss over tiramisu. This was just okay, I guess.

  52. User avatar drew.goldner1980 says:

    4 stars
I added some whipped cream on top because I thought it needed more fluff. It turned out pretty good!

  53. User avatar bong.reilly says:

    4 stars
It is nice, but I think it needs more chocolate! Like, why not add chocolate to the cream too?

  54. 5 stars
I was skeptical about adding hazelnut liqueur, but wow! It makes a huge difference!

    1. User avatar Tricia McMillan says:

      3 stars
Really? I thought it would be too much. What’s the taste like with it? I’m kinda curious now.

    2. User avatar leo.hilpert74 says:

      5 stars
I totally agree! That hazelnut liqueur really elevates the tiramisu! It’s like a party in your mouth. 🍰

  55. User avatar dana.bahringer77 says:

    4 stars
The kids hate tiramisu but they LOVE chocolate!! Would it taste good if I double the chocolate? 😋

  56. User avatar jacinto.bernier says:

    3 stars
I followed the recipe but mine came out too mushy. What did I do wrong?

  57. 3 stars
Too sugary for my taste. Next time I will cut the sugar in half. Also, why hazelnut liqueur?

    1. User avatar galen.altenwerth says:

      4 stars
I totally get it! It can be really sweet. Cutting the sugar sounds like a good plan. As for the hazelnut liqueur, it adds a nice depth, but you could skip it if you want! Just make it your way.

  58. 3 stars
I don’t really like coffee, do you think I can use tea instead? 🤔

  59. User avatar Rick Schmeler says:

This tiramisu looks amazing! Can’t wait to try it this weekend. 5 stars!

    1. User avatar Arvilla Schulist says:

I tried a similar recipe and it didn’t turn out well. Hope yours is better! 🍫

  60. User avatar Draugr Death Overlord says:

    4 stars
So good! But I think there’s way too much chocolate. Can I do less next time?

    1. User avatar Elmo Howell says:

      2 stars
But the chocolate is what makes it delicious! Less chocolate, less yum. Why would you wanna do that?

    2. User avatar Android 16 says:

      5 stars
Certainly! You can totally adjust the chocolate to your taste. Just use less next time. Hope it works out!

  61. User avatar ingrid.wiza says:

    5 stars
This tiramisu is to die for! The hazelnut flavor takes it to another level. Definitely making it again!

    1. User avatar bong.champlin93 says:

      5 stars
Sounds yummy! I’ve been looking for a good tiramisu recipe. Gonna try it out this weekend. Thanks for sharing! 😍

    2. User avatar cyril.lang43 says:

      3 stars
I love tiramisu, but I don’t know about hazelnut. Seems like it could be too much flavor. Did you use the liqueur? That might make a big difference.

  62. 3 stars
A bit too sweet for my taste, even with the coffee. But I can see why others like it.

    1. User avatar lawrence.muller72 says:

      4 stars
I think it’s the perfect balance! Maybe try using less sugar next time?

    2. 5 stars
Too sweet? I love that sweetness, makes it so indulgent! Not for everyone I guess.

  63. User avatar Jayson Schumm says:

    2 stars
i made this for my party but it was too soggy, maybe i dipped the ladyfingers too long? 😅

    1. User avatar CTRLplusW says:

      4 stars
Yeah, I think you might’ve left the ladyfingers in too long. Just a quick dip is all you need! They can turn into mush real quick. 🎉

  64. User avatar bradford.senger1955 says:

This recipe looks easy, but I’m worried I’ll mess it up. 🤔 Anyone have tips?

    1. User avatar leon.bernhard71 says:

      5 stars
I’ve made this recipe before and it’s really forgiving! Just don’t soak the ladyfingers too long, and you should be fine. You’ll do great! 😊

    2. User avatar rickiestmorty says:

      3 stars
Easy? I don’t know… my last dessert turned into a pancake! Just follow the steps carefully, and maybe watch a video. Good luck!

  65. User avatar temeka.bergstrom99 says:

    4 stars
Easy to follow! Just wish there was a video. 😊

    1. User avatar daron.langworth1995 says:

      5 stars
I agree! A video would help so much. But the recipe sounds delicious! 🍫

  66. User avatar Majin Buu says:

    3 stars
I don’t like coffee, so I skipped that step. It was okay but not great. Maybe I’ll try again with less coffee.

  67. User avatar Genghis Khan says:

    3 stars
Is it really tiramisu if it has chocolate? Like, isn’t it supposed to be just coffee? I’m confused.

  68. 3 stars
Can I replace the dark chocolate with milk chocolate? I’m not a fan of the bitter taste.

  69. User avatar forest.auer82 says:

    4 stars
Super easy to make! I used instant coffee and it still turned out great!

  71. User avatar latoya.christiansen84 says:

    4 stars
I used instant coffee because I ran out—don’t judge—and it still worked. I wouldn’t say it’s authentic tiramisu, but it’s definitely a dessert that tastes fancy.

  72. User avatar richard.gerlach93 says:

    2 stars
Not sure why everyone loves this so much. It’s okay, but nothing special.

    1. User avatar israel.keeling1956 says:

Does anyone know if I can use whipped cream instead of mascarpone? Asking for a friend.

  74. User avatar mickie.cronin66 says:

Not a fan. Tiramisu should be coffee-based, not chocolatey!! Just saying.

  75. User avatar janine.gutkowski says:

This tiramisu is amazing! So rich and creamy. Will definitely make it again!

  76. User avatar eldora.muller2012 says:

5/5 would eat again. “shredded chocolate” was confusing but I just shaved some bars and it looked great. Also the cocoa dusting part—wow.

  77. User avatar fae.mueller45 says:

    4 stars
Super easy to make and tasty! But can I use milk chocolate instead? Asking for a friend.

  78. 3 stars
I followed it mostly, but 2 hours feels short. Mine set a bit, but the layers were softer than expected. Next time I’ll chill overnight.

  79. User avatar katerine.haley65 says:

    3 stars
The ingredients list feels a bit random—“50 grams chocolate shredded” but not when to use it until the end. I ended up winging it and it was fine.

    5 stars
This is the best tiramisu I’ve ever made! Super easy and delicious! 🤤
