Chocolate and Hazelnut Tiramisu
A delicious twist on a classic dessert, this Chocolate and Hazelnut Tiramisu combines rich layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers with a creamy mascarpone filling and a hint of hazelnut flavor, topped with a dusting of cocoa.
Ingredients
- 250 grams mascarpone cheese
- 150 grams ladyfingers savoiardi
- 100 grams dark chocolate finely chopped
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee cooled
- 50 grams sugar granulated
- 3 tablespoons hazelnut liqueur optional
- 30 grams cocoa powder for dusting
- 50 grams chocolate shredded
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk mascarpone and sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the brewed coffee and hazelnut liqueur (if using) to a shallow dish. Dip each ladyfinger briefly into the mixture, ensuring they are well-soaked but not falling apart.
- Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers into the base of a serving dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, and sprinkle with half of the chopped dark chocolate.
- Repeat layers, finishing with a layer of mascarpone. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
- Just before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and sprinkle with shredded chocolate.

I don’t know about this. Tiramisu should be coffee, not so much chocolate. Not the best!
