1 lb fresh sardines, cleaned and scaled | |
1 lemon, sliced | |
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil | |
2 cloves garlic, minced | |
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped | |
1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped | |
1 teaspoon dried oregano | |
Salt and pepper to taste |
1. | Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). |
2. | Rinse the sardines under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. |
3. | Place the sardines in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper. |
4. | In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped dill, and dried oregano. |
5. | Spoon the herb mixture over the sardines, making sure to coat them evenly. |
