1 lb fresh sardines, cleaned and scaled
1 lemon, sliced
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste


1.Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2.Rinse the sardines under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
3.Place the sardines in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
4.In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped dill, and dried oregano.
5.Spoon the herb mixture over the sardines, making sure to coat them evenly.
6.Top the sardines with lemon slices.
7.Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the sardines are cooked through and golden brown.
8.Serve the baked sardines hot with lemon wedges and enjoy!
