Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 100 g Pepper jack cheese
- 100 g Refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
- Add garlic powder, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to the cooked sausage and stir to combine.
- Roll out the refrigerated pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle.
- Sprinkle the cooked sausage evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Grate or slice the pepper jack cheese and distribute it evenly over the sausage.
- Starting from one edge, carefully roll the dough tightly into a log and pinch the seams to seal it.
- Cut the rolled dough into even pieces, about 1 inch thick, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops of the rolls with olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
