Ingredients
- 1 g Crushed peppermint leaves
- 200 g All-purpose flour
- 100 g Sugar
- 100 g Butter
- 1 large Egg
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and crushed peppermint leaves.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Flatten each ball slightly with the bottom of a glass.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
