Peppermint Infused Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 g Crushed peppermint leaves
  • 200 g All-purpose flour
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 100 g Butter
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and crushed peppermint leaves.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  • Roll the dough into small balls and place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Flatten each ball slightly with the bottom of a glass.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
