Ingredients

  • 6 eggs hard-boiled and peeled
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon paprika plus more for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 pinch salt to taste
  • 1 pinch pepper to taste
  • 12 chive pieces cut into small pieces for the pumpkin stems

Instructions

  • Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise and scoop out the yolks into a bowl.
  • Mash the yolks with a fork and mix in mayonnaise, mustard, paprika, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture, mounding slightly. Use the back of a spoon or a fork to create lines on the surface of the filling to mimic a pumpkin’s ribs.
  • Dust with additional paprika for color, if desired.
  • Place a chive piece on top of each filled egg to resemble a pumpkin stem.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy your festive pumpkin-shaped deviled eggs.

My kids didn’t eat them, they said they looked weird. I’m not sure if I’ll make them again.

This is a dumb recipe. Who wants pumpkin shaped eggs? Eggs are eggs, they don’t need a gimmick.

I dont get why you need so many ingredients for deviled eggs? Just seems too much for a simple recipe.

Tried this and didn’t have chives, so I used parsley instead. Still turned out great!

Glad to hear it turned out great with parsley! Sometimes you gotta improvise. Can’t wait to try it myself!
