Ingredients

8 ounces pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1.Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2.In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and tender. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.
3.Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4.Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the mushroom sauce and toss to coat.
5.Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
