Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and tender. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the mushroom sauce and toss to coat.
