Jack Skellington Oreo Pops

October 28, 2024

Jack Skellington Oreo Pops are the perfect Halloween treat for fans of The Nightmare Before Christmas and anyone looking to add some spooky fun to their dessert table. These simple, yet striking pops combine the classic Oreo cookie with a Jack Skellington-inspired design, making them both festive and delicious. With their iconic black and white colors, these pops are as easy to make as they are to enjoy.

The process starts with dipping Oreo cookies in melted white chocolate or candy melts, which forms the base for the pops. Once coated, the cookies are placed on sticks, transforming them into pops that are perfect for Halloween parties, themed events, or just a fun seasonal treat. The white coating gives them a clean, striking look that mimics Jack Skellington’s face.

To create the signature Jack Skellington face, you can use black edible markers or melted dark chocolate to draw his spooky eyes, nose, and crooked smile. This simple decoration gives each pop its unique personality, making them a fun, creative way to celebrate Halloween.

For extra flair, you can also add sprinkles, edible glitter, or even a few candy accents around the edges. These pops are not only adorable but are also a great activity for kids or a fun family baking project. They are perfect for individual servings and are easy to grab, making them ideal for parties or classroom treats.

Jack Skellington Oreo Pops are a delicious, easy-to-make treat that delivers on both fun and flavor. The combination of the crunchy Oreo, smooth chocolate coating, and the spooky design makes these pops a hit at any Halloween celebration. Whether you’re serving them at a party, handing them out as favors, or enjoying them at home, these treats bring both charm and a little bit of Halloween magic to the table.

I don’t know. Kind of a hassle for just cookies, right? Why not just eat the Oreos?

  13. 2 stars
Not bad, but I feel like the gel faces are hard to draw. I couldn’t make it look like Jack. :/

I’m not sure if I trust melting chocolate in the microwave. Seems risky!

I know what you mean! Microwaves can be tricky, but I’ve had good luck if you do it in short bursts. Just don’t walk away from it!

These are adorable 😂 I made them for a Halloween party and everyone asked for the recipe. The white chocolate coating is key—mine set a little too fast so I worked quicker.

My pops turned out a mess. The chocolate didn’t coat well, and the faces looked terrible. 😩

Ugh, that sounds frustrating! Did you use too much chocolate? I always have issues with it too.

    2. User avatar lenny.quitzon says:

Maybe let the melted chocolate cool a bit before dipping? It might help with melting all over.

I don’t know… sounds too sweet for me. But my kids will love it, I guess.

These are adorable 😂 The Jack face with the black gel is such a fun touch. I used regular Oreos and they still worked great!

  30. 2 stars
I don’t see how this is any different from just eating Oreos. Kinda pointless.

    1. User avatar jayson.stokes says:

      5 stars
But it’s not just Oreos! It’s about the fun and creativity! Plus, Jack Skellington? Halloween vibes! 🎃

This is a fun kids project. I’m not super into baking, but even I could do it. The instructions are clear and simple.

I tried this but the white chocolate just wouldn’t stick right. Ended up with a mess.

    1. User avatar barney.durgan51 says:

      2 stars
Sounds like you did something wrong. The chocolate should stick fine if you do it right. Maybe try a different brand of chocolate next time?

    2. User avatar maragaret.simonis1 says:

      4 stars
Sorry to hear that! Have you tried letting the chocolate cool a bit before dipping? That might help it stick better!

  33. User avatar bradford.konopelski says:

Jack who? I just ate the chocolate and left the Oreo. Yummy!!

  34. User avatar jamison.torphy says:

  35. 2 stars
Wait, you are supposed to melt it? I just dunked them in the chocolate directly. Why did I not think of this?

  36. 3 stars
This can’t be good for you, but hey, it’s Halloween, right?

    1. User avatar lorenza.spinka8 says:

      5 stars
Haha, true! Halloween treats are all about indulgence! 🍬

    2. User avatar virgil.weimann31 says:

      3 stars
But like, doesn’t that white chocolate have a ton of sugar? Not exactly health food…

  37. 3 stars
I got confused on the coconut oil part. What does that do? But overall, not bad.

    1. User avatar Dominic Vernius says:

      2 stars
Honestly, I don’t get why you need coconut oil. Seems like a fancy add-on but it’s just chocolate at the end of the day!

    2. User avatar clifton.zieme says:

      4 stars
Coconut oil helps thin out the chocolate, makes it smoother for dipping! Don’t worry, it’s still tasty without it too.

  38. User avatar rowena.moore48 says:

    4 stars
I didn’t have black gel, so I used chocolate sprinkles instead. Still turned out tasty, but not very spooky!

    1. User avatar francesco.hirthe26 says:

      2 stars
But like, how’d you think chocolate sprinkles would look like Jack Skellington? Kinda not spooky at all 🤷‍♂️

    2. User avatar Fenchurch says:

      5 stars
That’s a clever swap! Chocolate sprinkles can be fun too. Love your creativity!

  39. 5 stars
    Yumm!!! ✨💖

Too much work for a cookie! Why not just eat the Oreos as they are? 😂
