2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups buttermilk
2 eggs
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Butter or oil for greasing the pan

1.In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
2.In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
3.Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; it's okay if there are small lumps.
4.Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Grease with butter or oil.
5.Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot skillet and spread it in a circular motion to form a pancake.
6.Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
7.Repeat with the remaining batter.
8.Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
