Best Homemade Brownies

December 28, 2023

There’s something truly special about homemade brownies. When made from scratch, they’re rich, fudgy, and packed with that deep chocolate flavor that makes each bite feel like a little moment of indulgence. Whether you’re craving a treat for yourself or preparing something to share with friends and family, these brownies are sure to hit the spot every time.

What sets these brownies apart is their perfectly balanced texture. They’re not too cakey or too gooey, but instead fall somewhere in between, dense and fudgy with just the right amount of chew. The key is to use a good amount of butter, which ensures richness and moisture without being overly greasy. The addition of dark chocolate chips or chunks further enhances the chocolatey flavor, making every bite decadent and satisfying.

Making these brownies is incredibly simple, and the ingredients are likely already in your pantry: butter, sugar, eggs, flour, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. The trick to getting them just right is in the mixing. Don’t overmix the batter; stir just until the ingredients come together, which helps keep the texture dense and fudgy. Bake until the edges are set and the center is slightly soft, don’t worry, they’ll firm up as they cool.

For an extra touch, top your brownies with a sprinkle of sea salt or a drizzle of melted chocolate once they’ve cooled. You can also customize the recipe by adding mix-ins like nuts, caramel, or even swirls of peanut butter for a fun twist.

These homemade brownies can be served on their own or with a scoop of ice cream for an indulgent dessert. They also store well, so you can make a batch ahead of time and enjoy them throughout the week. Whether you’re having a casual movie night or celebrating a special occasion, these brownies are the perfect go-to treat. Simple to make and utterly delicious, they’ll quickly become your favorite brownie recipe.

These turned out fudgy and rich—exactly what I wanted. The “moist crumbs” tip is clutch. I did bake closer to 28 minutes and they were perfect.

  2. User avatar veola.schroeder30 says:

    5 stars
The texture is perfect—crackly top, fudgy middle. I used a glass 9×13 and they released easily after cooling. Highly recommend.

  3. User avatar jonas.ruecker2015 says:

    4 stars
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about only 1 cup flour for 2 cups sugar and 4 eggs. But the brownies set nicely and didn’t collapse. Great balance!

    1. User avatar beau.gerhold1964 says:

      3 stars
Wait… 1 cup flour for 2 cups sugar? Mine always come out cakey unless I use way more flour. Maybe I overmixed? Or maybe my cocoa is different. Still, glad yours worked!

    2. User avatar steve_maga says:

      5 stars
I felt the same way at first—1 cup flour sounded way too light. But if they set without collapsing, that’s usually the sign the cocoa and bake time are doing their job. Nice!

  4. User avatar Twisted Fate says:

    2 stars
Why would you put vanilla in brownies? Seems pointless. Just chocolate all the way.

  5. 3 stars
They are ok. Kind of sweet for my taste. Might cut down the sugar next time.

  6. User avatar marivel.wilkinson1972 says:

    5 stars
I made these for my kids, and they devoured them. This is a keeper recipe!

    1. User avatar ivonne.hills says:

      5 stars
I’m so glad to hear that! My kids loved them too, but I added nuts for some extra crunch. Yum!

    2. 2 stars
I don’t know, they look too sweet for my taste. Aren’t brownies supposed to have less sugar?

  7. User avatar Barliman Butterbur says:

    4 stars
Super easy to follow instructions! I love how simple it was! Will bake again.

  8. User avatar leigh.kuhic2007 says:

    4 stars
I made them and they turned out good, but I think 2 cups sugar is a lot. Next time I’ll try cutting it by like 1/4 cup. Still, super chocolatey and easy.

    1. User avatar angelo.glover73 says:

      4 stars
When I tried reducing sugar, mine got a little more fudgy/less crackly top (in a good way). 1/4 cup should be safe—let us know how they turn out!

    2. User avatar diana.bartoletti95 says:

      5 stars
Glad they worked for you! 2 cups sugar can feel like a lot, but brownies do tend to need it for that chewy texture. Cutting by 1/4 cup sounds like a good experiment.

  9. 5 stars
These brownies are dangerously good. The texture is fudgy, and the chocolate chips make them taste bakery-level. I baked mine closer to 28 minutes and they came out perfect.

    1. User avatar toney.west1974 says:

      5 stars
28 minutes seems spot on! I always worry about overbaking brownies, but the “moist crumbs” test is the best guide. Also yes—those chocolate chips really push them into bakery territory 😄

  10. User avatar Natisha Blick says:

    1 star
Burnt edges, raw center. I swear I checked at 25 minutes and still messed up somehow 😂

  11. User avatar myles.tillman99 says:

    4 stars
Good recipe, but I swapped chocolate chips for nuts. Way better!

  12. User avatar anamaria.smith says:

    4 stars
I don’t believe 25-30 minutes will do it—mine were raw at 30. Maybe my oven runs cold? Ended up baking closer to 38 and then they were good. Good recipe, just watch the toothpick.

  13. User avatar olen.stanton66 says:

    3 stars
I tried to microwave the butter but I think I overheated it—my sugar kinda clumped? I whisked it harder and it still turned out okay, but not as pretty. Still chocolatey!

  14. User avatar ozell.rutherford says:

    5 stars
These are dangerously good. I used dark chocolate chips and baked closer to 28 minutes—perfect fudgy center. The mix of cocoa + chips is spot on.

  15. 5 stars
    Brownies? Yummy!

  16. User avatar shad.rohan9 says:

    4 stars
I was skeptical about microwaving the butter, but it worked. Sugar didn’t fully dissolve for me (maybe my stirring was bad) and the top had slight crunch. Still really good.

    1. 5 stars
Glad it still worked! If the sugar didn’t fully dissolve, I’d try stirring longer once the butter + sugar are mixed (or microwave 10–15 sec bursts and stir between). The slight crunch could’ve been from the surface baking a bit extra too—covering with foil near the end might help.

  17. User avatar weston.nikolaus1995 says:

    5 stars
Just wow!! I could eat the whole pan myself! 🍫😍

    1. User avatar Arwen Evenstar says:

      5 stars
Right?! These brownies are seriously addictive! I can’t stop at just one piece! 🍫❤️

  18. User avatar mathWizard says:

    4 stars
I’m skeptical about the toothpick test—‘few moist crumbs’ is so vague 😅 But honestly it worked. I waited for the crumbs instead of clean toothpick and they were great.

    1. User avatar geoWizard says:

      3 stars
I always wait for the toothpick to be like… almost clean. Few crumbs sounds risky. Still, if it turned out great then hey—guess I’m wrong. 😄

    2. User avatar mason.harris41 says:

      4 stars
Totally agree—“few moist crumbs” sounds like brownie fortune-telling 😅 I’m glad it worked for you though. Do you bake closer to 25 or 30 mins?

  19. User avatar arron.hartmann says:

    3 stars
Idk about 350°F for 25-30 minutes… mine took way longer and the top cracked like crazy. Flavor was okay, but texture was off until I waited an extra 10 min.

  20. User avatar Janeen Homenick says:

    2 stars
Not impressed. I’ve had better from a box. 2 stars from me.

    1. User avatar horace.zulauf82 says:

      5 stars
I think these brownies are amazing! You must have done something wrong. 5 stars all the way!

    2. User avatar billy.mayer6 says:

      4 stars
Really? I find them better than most box ones. Can’t be that bad if you follow directions!

  21. 5 stars
Did someone say chocolate? Sign me up! These are the best, hands down!

  22. 3 stars
Good but not the best, I prefer my mom’s recipe with more chocolate. 😅

  23. 5 stars
Best brownies ever! I couldn’t stop eating them! I’ll definitely make these again! 🍫

  24. 4 stars
If I can make it, anyone can. Just mix stuff and put in oven. Easy peasy!

  25. User avatar monroe.kuhlman says:

    3 stars
Tastes good but my kids said it was too chocolaty. I think less chocolate would be better for them.

  26. User avatar jewell.volkman says:

    4 stars
Followed the recipe exactly and they were good, but I felt like they were a little too sweet for my taste. Next time I’ll cut the sugar slightly or use dark chocolate chips.

  27. User avatar taren.rutherford99 says:

    4 stars
Pretty good, but my eggs seemed to make the batter a little too glossy/runny? Still tasted great though. Next time I’ll mix just a bit less after adding the flour.

  28. 3 stars
Tried these and they came out a bit dry. Maybe I baked them too long?

    1. User avatar daria.reynolds2007 says:

      5 stars
Yeah, they can dry out if you bake them too long! Try checking them a bit earlier next time. They should be gooey! 🥳

  29. 2 stars
I feel like this recipe isn’t legit. Who puts 4 eggs in brownies – that’s too much! 🤨

  30. User avatar basementDweller says:

    3 stars
Too much sugar, ugh. I suggest cutting it down if you like it less sweet.

  31. User avatar Brittni Medhurst says:

    5 stars
Best brownie recipe ever!! I can’t believe how easy it was. Definitely making again!

  32. User avatar Len DeHande says:

    3 stars
Gotta try these but not sure why no baking powder in the ingredients?? Doesn’t that make it rise?

  33. 2 stars
I followed the recipe but mine came out hard. Did I mix it too long or what? Not sure I would make again.

  34. User avatar liberal.hero says:

    4 stars
Pretty easy, and the flavor is rich. I baked mine 28 minutes and that “moist crumbs” thing worked well. Next time I might add a pinch of espresso powder for extra depth.

  35. User avatar nerissa.heidenreich44 says:

    1 star
Browneez? Who needs em, I’ll stick to cookies! ^^

  36. User avatar jeff.greenholt says:

    3 stars
Not bad, but 25-30 minutes seems short. Mine needed closer to 35 minutes to set in the center. Might depend on the pan size.

    1. User avatar roosevelt.aufderhar95 says:

      5 stars
I agree—25-30 min is often not enough. I usually aim for ~35, too, especially if the pan isn’t quite the same size.

  37. 5 stars
These brownies are insanely rich. The chocolate chips + cocoa combo is perfect, and the texture with moist crumbs is spot on. I cooled them overnight and they cut like a dream.

  38. User avatar wendy.mueller2004 says:

    4 stars
I followed it exactly… except I didn’t let them cool long enough and I basically destroyed the squares 😂 But the taste was amazing. Will try again with patience.

  39. User avatar lavonia.renner says:

    3 stars
My batter seemed way too thick after mixing the flour in—almost like cookie dough. I baked anyway and it turned out pretty good, but not as fudgy as I expected.

  40. 2 stars
I just don’t get the hype over brownies. These tasted okay, but my mom’s recipe is way better.

  41. User avatar elvis.tillman says:

    3 stars
Brownies was ok but, I dunno, kinda basic? Tried other recipes that were more fun.

  42. User avatar anonymous_hacker says:

    5 stars
These brownies are insanely good. I followed the steps exactly and they came out fudgy, not cakey. The chocolate chips make a big difference—definitely a keeper.

  43. User avatar Milton Friesen says:

    2 stars
I followed the recipe exactly but they came out dry and crumbly. Maybe my oven is off?

  44. User avatar Ethan Schowalter MD says:

    5 stars
These are the BEST brownies I’ve ever made! So fudgy and delicious. My family devoured them in no time!

  45. User avatar eldon.feeney51 says:

    5 stars
These came out fudgy and super chocolatey! I baked mine right at 28 minutes and the toothpick test was spot on. Will definitely make again.

    1. User avatar cleo.heathcote says:

      5 stars
Yes!! Exactly the texture I’m chasing—fudgy with that deep chocolate vibe. Mine usually run a little too cakey unless I watch the time, so 28 minutes is super helpful. Thanks!

    2. User avatar lorette.hagenes47 says:

      4 stars
Good to hear the toothpick test worked for you. I think I might underbake mine if I’m not careful tho—28 min seems a bit specific. Also do you let them cool all the way like the recipe says? Mine get messy if I cut too soon 😅

  46. User avatar rickiestmorty says:

    5 stars
These are the best brownies I have ever made! Super fudgy and chocolatey!

  47. User avatar horace.macejkovic says:

    4 stars
Simple and easy recipe. Perfect for beginners! My fam loved them. Will make again!

  48. User avatar Raleigh Kertzmann says:

    5 stars
Brilliant recipe! I used coconut oil instead of butter. Still tasty!

  49. 3 stars
I tried melting butter in the microwave, but mine got a little separated. Still worked, just looked oily for a minute. Taste was great though.

  50. User avatar Clemencia O'Keefe says:

    4 stars
Pretty straightforward, and the cocoa + chocolate chips combo is legit. I did add an extra pinch of salt because… well, I always do. Still turned out great.

  51. 3 stars
I don’t know… mine were a little too sweet even with the cocoa. Also my batter seemed thick like cookie dough, so I had to spread it aggressively. Tasted fine though.

  52. User avatar wiley.wiegand2015 says:

    3 stars
I dunno, mine turned out a bit too dry. Maybe I baked it too long?

  53. 2 stars
Brownies are just cake, but denser right? I don’t get it.

  54. 3 stars
I think my oven runs hot, because mine were a little overdone at 30 minutes. The flavor was amazing though, just not as gooey as the picture in my head.

  55. User avatar oPandariaNo says:

    5 stars
Made this recipe for a party and they were gone in seconds! Everyone loved them!

  56. User avatar lloyd.goodwin69 says:

    4 stars
Pretty good! I followed the steps but my batter seemed a little thick at step 4, maybe I mixed too long. Still tasted like classic brownies though.

  57. User avatar dirk.heaney23 says:

    2 stars
Kinda bland… I think the cocoa powder amount is off? Like 1/2 cup seems not enough. I added extra cocoa and it helped. Otherwise decent.

    1. 5 stars
Totally agree—mine tasted a bit flat too. I’m thinking 1/2 cup cocoa is maybe light for the amount of sugar/flour. Extra cocoa definitely helps!

    2. User avatar Android 18 says:

      4 stars
I tried it exactly as written and it came out really rich for me? Maybe it depends on cocoa brand—some are less intense. Did you use Dutch-process or natural cocoa?

  58. User avatar kathy.jenkins says:

    5 stars
These brownies are literally the best! So fudgy and rich. I made them for a party and they were gone in minutes!

    1. User avatar Daedric Prince says:

      5 stars
I agree, these brownies are life! I brought them to work and everyone loved ’em!

    2. User avatar leonardo.gaylord says:

      3 stars
Are they that good? I’ve tried other recipes and they weren’t so great. How fudgy are we talking?

  59. User avatar gene.turner6 says:

    5 stars
These brownies are the best thing ever! Totally love them! 💖

  60. User avatar reina.zemlak33 says:

    2 stars
Maybe I did something wrong, but my batter was really thick. Also I used 3 eggs instead of 4 (oops) and it turned out flatter. Still chocolatey, just not “best” yet.

    1. 5 stars
Oh no—thick batter + only 3 eggs could totally explain the flatter result. Eggs add structure and lift, and too much flour/cocoa or not enough mixing/heat can make it stiff. Next time try weighing your flour/cocoa (not scooping), and make sure you mix the eggs in really thoroughly. Also, measuring cocoa accurately matters a lot.

    2. User avatar Spider Soldier says:

      3 stars
Yeah I’ve had that happen… I usually think “thick = better” but it can go the other way. Your 4 eggs vs 3 is probably the main thing, but also did you maybe pack the flour or add extra? Brownies should be spreadable, not like cookie dough. Just add a tiny bit of moisture next time? Like a splash of milk/coffee (if you have it).

  61. User avatar yong.vandervort says:

    2 stars
I dunno, I expected more chocolate flavor. They turned out kinda bland for me.

  62. User avatar sydney.jones6 says:

    5 stars
Really easy, and they came out like bakery brownies. My only change was sifting the cocoa so no lumps—highly recommend.

  63. User avatar Draugr Overlord says:

    5 stars
Honestly this is the best brownie recipe I’ve tried at home. I used Dutch-process cocoa because that’s what I had and they tasted even richer. Will repeat.

  64. 5 stars
Brownies lowkey make me too happy. Wut’s not to love? 😍

  65. 3 stars
Love the simplicity, but microwaving butter worries me. Like is it too hot? Mine separated slightly. Still came together, just not as glossy as I wanted.

    1. User avatar Elder Kai says:

      5 stars
Totally get that—microwaving butter can overdo it. If it gets too hot, it can look separated and won’t stay as glossy. Next time try shorter bursts (like 15–20 sec), stir in between, and pull it when it’s just melted. Glad yours still came together though!

  66. 5 stars
These brownies are to die for! So fudgy and rich. My family devoured them in minutes! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  67. User avatar yetta.mosciski34 says:

    4 stars
Not gonna lie, I messed up and forgot to cool completely. I cut them early and they were super gooey (not in a bad way). Taste is still great!

  68. User avatar stuart.ratke49 says:

    2 stars
Uh, do these really taste better than boxed brownies? I have my doubts. Also, who’s gonna measure butter in grams?! 📏

    1. User avatar Bob Sledd says:

      4 stars
Boxed brownies are good, but homemade ones have a depth of flavor! Plus, it’s not that hard to measure in grams once you get used to it. 😉

    2. 3 stars
Who needs grams? Just stick to cups! Boxed ones are super convenient, but you gotta try these for real. Might surprise ya!

  69. User avatar virgilio.king69 says:

    2 stars
Not sure what I did wrong, but mine came out kinda dry even though I checked at 25 minutes. Maybe my eggs were smaller? The flavor was still chocolatey.

  70. User avatar Eduardo Huel says:

    4 stars
I don’t really believe in toothpick rules anymore—mine always lies. I baked until the edges pulled away and that saved it. Good brownies overall.

  71. User avatar Gaius Helen Mohiam says:

    4 stars
I was skeptical about microwaving the butter and then stirring in sugar, but it worked! Easy steps, minimal cleanup, and the chocolate chips are a nice touch.

    1. 5 stars
Yes!! I was like “no way” about microwaving the butter, but it really does make it quick and smooth. The “few moist crumbs” note is key.

  72. User avatar mai.sipes1993 says:

    2 stars
I dunno, mine came out kinda dry and crumbly. I followed the recipe tho. Maybe I overbaked it? 😂

    1. User avatar augustina.von19 says:

      3 stars
Dry? Really? I mean, brownies are supposed to be gooey. Are you sure you measured everything right? 🤔

    2. User avatar Melida Sauer says:

      4 stars
I feel you! Brownies can be tricky, especially if the oven runs hot. Maybe try reducing the baking time a bit next time? They’ll be so fudgy! 🍫

  73. User avatar liberal.hero says:

    4 stars
Easy peasy! I added nuts and they turned out great!

  74. User avatar Super Saiyan Trunks says:

    2 stars
Not gonna lie, 2 cups sugar feels like a lot. Mine tasted super sweet even though I used the correct ingredients. Maybe cut it down next time?

  75. User avatar denis.fadel16 says:

    5 stars
These are dangerous. I cut them and “tested” one piece and then kept going. Super chocolatey and dense. Cooling completely is key—mine were too gooey until they rested.

  76. User avatar buena.hackett says:

    4 stars
Yum! Just the right amount of chocolate chips. I also added walnuts for a bit of crunch!

  77. 4 stars
Brownies with microwaved butter?? seems kinda sketchy but it worked. I was worried the eggs would scramble, but mixing carefully helped.

  78. User avatar vita.johnston16 says:

    5 stars
These are the best brownies I’ve ever made! So fudgy and delicious!

  79. 5 stars
I like that the recipe is straightforward. The only tweak I made was adding a pinch of espresso powder to boost the cocoa. Turned out super chocolatey, not cakey.

  80. User avatar ahmed.graham says:

    4 stars
So easy to make! I added some walnuts for extra crunch. Yum!

  81. User avatar cheryl.oberbrunner93 says:

    4 stars
Dude, I left out the chocolate chips by mistake and they still tasted good. Crazy!

    1. User avatar pat.gottlieb44 says:

      5 stars
That’s awesome! Sometimes mistakes turn out the best. Can’t wait to try them without chocolate chips!

    2. User avatar tasia.tremblay94 says:

      3 stars
No chocolate chips? Really? That sounds weird but ok, I guess some people like less sweet things.

  82. User avatar vicki.wolf38 says:

    5 stars
Five stars. Simple and chocolatey. My kid literally asked for more and said “these are restaurant brownies.”

    1. User avatar marleen.bartoletti82 says:

      5 stars
Aww that’s the best compliment 😄 “Restaurant brownies” is the highest praise! Glad they turned out so chocolatey and simple.

  83. User avatar Daedric Prince says:

    5 stars
Made these last night and they came out fudgy and rich—exactly what I wanted. Followed the bake time pretty closely and they were still soft in the middle after cooling.

  84. User avatar Jona Lubowitz V says:

    3 stars
Is it really necessary to use unsalted butter? I only had salted…

    1. User avatar Lewis Fisher says:

      3 stars
I don’t think it matters that much! Brownies are just gonna be yummy anyway, right? 😂

    2. User avatar Werewolf says:

      4 stars
Using unsalted butter helps control the saltiness in recipes. If you only have salted, just reduce the extra salt in the recipe a bit. It’ll still taste good! 👍

  85. 2 stars
The amounts in grams vs cups are confusing me. 1 cup flour = 125g? Mine is usually 120g so maybe that’s why mine was slightly dry.

  86. User avatar lizabeth.parisian52 says:

    3 stars
Ehhh, I’ve had better. Thought they would taste more like chocolate cake but they don’t.

  87. User avatar latesha.dare89 says:

    4 stars
Yum, chocolatey goodness! I added nuts for an extra crunch. Will definitely make these again!

    1. User avatar tissues_with_issues says:

      5 stars
Nuts in brownies? That’s genius! I’m gonna try that next time. 🤤

    2. User avatar Draugr Wight says:

      2 stars
I don’t think adding nuts is that great… brownies should be smooth, right? Just my opinion.

  88. User avatar NAFO.SUPREMACY says:

    3 stars
I followed the recipe but mine came out a bit dry. I think I baked them too long. 🤔

    1. User avatar tissues_with_issues says:

      4 stars
Sorry to hear that! Maybe try checking them a bit earlier next time. Brownies can be tricky!

    2. User avatar jutta.bernhard says:

      3 stars
I don’t think it’s your fault. Sometimes ovens are off. My brownies turned out hard once too. 😅

350°F for 25-30 minutes… I checked early at 23 and they were still raw. Baked to 30 and it was finally right. Timing matters!

These brownies are amazing! So fudgy and rich. My kids loved them.

Came out perfect. Edges slightly set, center fudgy. Cooling completely is HARD but it made the texture way better when I finally cut them. Restaurant quality.

Quick and easy! I added nuts because we love them! So delicious! 🥰

Can I substitute butter with coconut oil? I’m out of butter and really want brownies now!

Are we really putting butter AND sugar? Way too much sweet for me. No thanks.

  95. 5 stars
I was skeptical, but wow. Melted butter + sugar is so smooth, and the cocoa ratio is on point. Next time I’ll add a pinch of espresso powder.

My cocoa powder clumped a bit even after whisking. I’m not sure if it was the brand or me rushing. Still, the brownies looked like yours and tasted chocolate-forward.

I substituted dark chocolate chips and it worked, though I had to bake 5 extra minutes. I’d say the recipe is forgiving. Cool completely or they’ll be gooey in a bad way.

Nice! I also love that these are forgiving—mine usually need a couple extra minutes depending on the oven. And yep, cooling makes a huge difference; otherwise it turns into sad goo chaos 😅

Huh, 5 extra minutes seems like a lot though. Are you sure your oven temp isn’t off? Also if you cool them they set… but then why does the toothpick part say moist crumbs? Confusing.

I accidentally overmixed the batter and they turned out denser than I expected, but still tasty. Cooling completely was key—without it, they were kinda gooey in a bad way.

So many grams and cups… my kitchen scale hates me. I used 1 cup flour but maybe not the 125g exact, and it was a bit dry. Could be user error, but still.

I don’t know about nuts in brownies… sounds wrong to me. Just stick to chocolate!

These are the best brownies I’ve made at home. My kids (who claim to hate sweets) went back for more. 10/10 would bake again.

My kids loved these. They ate the corner pieces first, which means it’s a win. I’m giving it 5 stars just for that 😅

Followed the steps exactly, but mine came out a bit too fudgey—still tasty though. Next time I’ll probably pull them at 25 minutes instead of 30. Great flavor regardless.

These brownies are absolutely delicious! Super fudgy and rich. Definitely a keeper!

I agree! These brownies are the best! I made them twice last week! Yum!

They look good, but mine turned out hard. Did I overbake or somethin’?

  105. 3 stars
OK but could use more cocoa? Like, I want it darker, not just chocolate. Might try adding extra cocoa next time.

Made these last weekend and they came out so fudgy. The “few moist crumbs” line is spot on—overbaking is the real enemy. Added a pinch more salt and it tasted even richer.

wow so easy. I messed up the oven time the first batch (thought 350 was 375 lol) but the second batch was perfect. gonna save this recipe.

I followed the recipe, but mine turned out dry. What did I do wrong?

Maybe you baked them too long? Keep an eye on the time next time!

So easy! I followed it pretty much exactly. Mine were a tiny bit shiny on top but still moist inside. Next time I might add a pinch more salt to really pop the chocolate.

So good to hear you nailed it! Mine do get a little glossy on top too—usually just means they’re nicely fudgy inside. A tiny pinch more salt with the chocolate sounds like a great upgrade.
