4 pork chops
2 tbsp Szechuan peppercorns
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp chili paste
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp minced ginger
Salt and pepper, to taste


1.In a spice grinder, grind the Szechuan peppercorns to a fine powder.
2.In a bowl, mix the ground Szechuan peppercorns, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, honey, chili paste, minced garlic, and minced ginger to create the marinade.
3.Season the pork chops with salt and pepper, then coat them thoroughly with the marinade. Allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
4.Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
5.Grill the marinated pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice char.
