2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs


1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
2.In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. In a separate bowl, mix together pumpkin, vegetable oil, white sugar, brown sugar, and eggs. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just blended. Pour into the prepared loaf pan.
3.Bake in the preheated oven for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
