- Let it rest for 5 minutes and then cut into servings and enjoy
Too much onion soup mix! It overpowered everything. I couldn’t enjoy it. Probably won’t make again.
Not bad, but the A-1 topping was a little too sweet/tangy for me. Next time I’d use less Worcestershire or add more white pepper.
I followed the recipe to a T but it turned out dry. I think I might have overcooked it. 😕
I feel you! Meatloaf can be tricky, especially in the microwave. Maybe try less time next time?
Overcooked it? Nah, my meatloaf always turns out fine. Maybe you need a better microwave or something?
This is the first time my meatloaf didn’t taste like “plain ground meat.” The herbs de Provence really came through. 10/10 with mashed potatoes.
Tried it and it came out kinda dry. I think I overcooked because I trusted the timing—next time I’m going by thermometer only. Flavor was still decent.
Not gonna lie—“Turkish Meatloaf” feels like a marketing name for an American-style meatloaf with onion soup mix. Still tasty though, especially with the A-1 zig-zag top lol.
Microwaving meatloaf? Really? That’s not how my grandma did it.. but I tried it and it worked. Crazy!
How do legums go with meatloaf? Just asking for a friend. Any vegan recipes?
This was amazing! I never thought turkey could taste so good in a meatloaf. Family loved it!
Why do I need to use ‘Herb de Provance’? I don’t even know what that is. Just using Italian seasoning.
My kids loved it! Mixed it all up and they couldn’t even tell it was turkey and chicken. Thanks for the recipe!
I made this exactly as written and it turned out juicy. The onion soup mix + Worcestershire combo is doing the heavy lifting. A-1 zig-zag on top is a little weird but totally works—great flavor!
Not what I expected. The garlic flavor was too strong for me. I think I’ll stick to traditional recipes.
I understand where you’re coming from! Garlic can be pretty overpowering sometimes. Have you tried using less or maybe roasting it first? It can mellow the flavor a lot.
Nah, garlic ain’t too strong if you ask me. That’s what makes it good! But if ya like tradish stuff, that’s cool too.
It was alright but I like my meatloaf more traditional. The A-1 sauce was weird. I struggled with it.
My husband loves A-1 sauce! It was perfect on top. Definitely a keeper. 👍
So easy to make, but I didn’t like the microwaving part. Meatloaf should be baked, right? Not for me.
OMG! Best meatloaf ever!!! So easy to make. 10/10 recommend!
Why Herb de Provance with meatloaf? I tried it and it tasted kinda perfumey. Would rather just do Italian seasoning.
Herb de Provence is fine, but 1 tbsp is a LOT. My first try tasted like “perfume” too and I swore it was the onion soup mix overpowering. Lower it to like 1 tsp-2 tsp and you’ll be good. Also microwaving 20-35 min—kinda seems off—loaf usually needs longer in an oven imo.
I get what you mean—Herbes de Provence can come off a little floral with poultry. I think Italian seasoning (or just oregano + thyme) would be a better match for the turkey/chicken combo. Next time I’d also use a bit less than 1 tbsp and see.
Meh, wasn’t that great. I’ll stick with my mom’s recipe. Too much garlic I think.
Made this last night—easy and super flavorful. The dried onion soup mix really does the heavy lifting. I followed the microwave timing and hit 165°F, juicy and not dry.
