drained and flaked

bread crumbs
you can use Panko for extra crispiness

onion
finely chopped

mayonnaise

lemon juice
freshly squeezed

freshly ground

for frying
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the salmon, bread crumbs, egg, onion, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry patties until both sides are golden brown, about 3-5 minutes per side.
Drain patties on paper towels before serving.
Serve warm with your choice of sides or dipping sauces.
