Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, and beaten egg. Mix until just combined.
Shape the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs, cooking until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Use remaining olive oil as needed for frying in batches.
