In a large bowl, mix together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
Add chicken wings to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for best results.
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and set a wire rack on top.
Arrange the marinated wings on the prepared rack in a single layer.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, turning once halfway through, until wings are cooked through and golden brown.
Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
