Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the ziti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Roll the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides.
Pour the marinara sauce into a baking dish. Add the cooked ziti and meatballs. Mix well to combine.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
