Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

Ingredients

  • 100 g Pasta
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 4 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley
  • to taste Salt

Instructions

  • Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
  • While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the sliced garlic and sautu00e9 for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
  • Add the red pepper flakes and sautu00e9 for another 30 seconds.
  • Drain the pasta, reserving some pasta water, and add it to the skillet with the garlic oil.
  • Toss to combine, adding a splash of reserved pasta water if necessary to loosen it up.
  • Add chopped parsley and season with salt to taste.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
