Ingredients
  

  • 4 large onions peeled and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the onion halves in a baking dish, cut sides up.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour the heavy cream over the onions and sprinkle chopped rosemary on top.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for another 30 minutes or until the onions are tender and golden brown.
  • Serve warm as a side dish or as part of a main course.
