bolillo bread rolls

cup
refried beans

cup
chicharrón
shredded
1
cup
shredded cheese
such as Cheddar or Monterey Jack
jalapeños
sliced, for topping (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Slice each bolillo bread roll in half horizontally.
Spread a layer of refried beans on each of the cut sides of the bread rolls.
Top the refried beans with shredded chicharrón and shredded cheese.
Place the bread rolls on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before topping with sliced jalapeños and chopped cilantro, if desired.
Serve warm and enjoy!
