In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and sugar.
In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes, or until foamy.
Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mixture. Stir until a soft dough forms.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a clean kitchen towel. Let it rise for 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
Punch down the dough and divide it into 4 equal pieces.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out each piece into a heart shape using the heart-shaped cookie cutter as a guide.
Place the heart-shaped pizza crusts on a greased baking sheet.
Spread pizza sauce evenly over each crust, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
Bake the pizzas in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let the pizzas cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Fold a pepperoni slice in half and use a pair of kitchen shears to trim the edges into the shape of half of a heart. Arrange a layer of pepperoni hearts over the pizza dough.
