Ingredients

  • 2 pieces pork chops bone-in, about 1 inch thick
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice fresh or from can
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce light or reduced sodium preferred
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar packed
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger fresh if available

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, mix together the pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger until the sugar is dissolved.

  • Remove the pork chops from the marinade and place them on the preheated grill. Discard the marinade.
  • Grill pork chops for about 8-10 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Remove the pork chops from the grill and let them rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.
