Ingredients
  

  • 1 whole chicken about 4 pounds
  • 1/2 cup honey for glazing
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic together to make the glaze.
  • Place the chicken in a roasting pan. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Brush the chicken with the glaze mixture, covering it thoroughly.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, basting occasionally with the drippings and remaining glaze, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.
