Instructions
Scoop a ball of ice cream and freeze it until very hard.
Crush cornflakes and mix with cinnamon if using.
Roll the ice cream scoop in the crushed cornflakes.
Dip the coated ice cream in beaten egg, then roll it again in cornflakes to create a thick coating.
Heat oil to 375°F (190°C) in a deep saucepan.
Quickly fry the coated ice cream for about 10-15 seconds until golden brown.
Remove and serve immediately, optionally drizzled with chocolate syrup or honey.
