Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • butter for frying
  • maple syrup serving

Instructions
 

  • In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt some butter.
  • Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side.
  • Place the soaked bread slices onto the hot skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  • Serve the French toast hot with maple syrup.
