Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups chicken broth low sodium
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour plus extra for dusting
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tbsp spices

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Stir in the melted butter and milk until a dough forms.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into small dumpling-like pieces.
  • In a baking dish, add the chicken broth and diced onions, and arrange the dumplings on top.
  • Brush the dumplings with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the dumplings are golden brown and cooked through.
