Chicken Florentine is a delicious Italian-inspired dish featuring tender chicken breasts cooked in a creamy spinach sauce, often served over pasta or rice.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cups spinach fresh
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and cook in the skillet for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Add the spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is thickened.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Let it simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve the Chicken Florentine hot over pasta or rice.
