Instructions
Cook the fettuccine in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and add heavy cream. Stir well and heat the mixture gently.
Add crumbled blue cheese to the saucepan, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Season the sauce with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly.
