Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cut off the tops of the apples and use a spoon or melon baller to scoop out the core and seeds, creating a well in the center of each apple.
In a small bowl, mix together the chopped nuts, honey, melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Divide the nut mixture between the hollowed-out apples, filling them up.
Place the stuffed apples in a baking dish and pour the water into the dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the apples are soft and the nut mixture is golden brown.
Serve the baked apples warm, drizzled with any remaining honey from the baking dish. Enjoy!
