Ingredients

2 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
1 egg, beaten

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
2.In a bowl, mix together the diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
3.Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 4 squares.
4.Place a spoonful of the apple mixture onto each square.
5.Fold the pastry over the filling to create a triangle shape and press the edges to seal.
6.Brush the turnovers with beaten egg.
7.Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
8.Allow to cool slightly before serving.
