- Finish with 8 buttered phyllo sheets on top.
- Cut into diamonds and bake 45 minutes until deep golden.
- Simmer sugar, water, honey, lemon juice, and cinnamon stick into a syrup, then pour it over the hot baklava and let it soak completely.
