Instructions
Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions.
In a large bowl, whisk together the whole grain flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, mix the milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Ladle the batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook until golden brown and crisp. Serve hot.
