In a large resealable bag, combine tequila, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, honey, and cumin. Seal the bag and shake to mix.
Add the chicken breasts to the bag and seal. Turn to coat the chicken in the marinade. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 12 hours for more intense flavor.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and discard the marinade.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with additional lime wedges if desired.
