Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef 85% lean
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mild or hot, depending on preference
  • 1 cup salsa your choice of brand
  • 1 can black beans drained and rinsed
  • 6 pieces flour tortillas 8-inch size
  • 3 cups shredded cheese Mexican blend

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add taco seasoning and salsa to the beef, stirring until well combined. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add black beans to the beef mixture and stir to combine.
  • In a baking dish, start layering with two tortillas covering the bottom, followed by a layer of the beef mixture, and a layer of cheese. Repeat layers, ending with cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let it cool slightly before slicing. Serve with your choice of toppings such as sour cream, guacamole, or chopped cilantro.
