In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add taco seasoning and salsa to the beef, stirring until well combined. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Add black beans to the beef mixture and stir to combine.
In a baking dish, start layering with two tortillas covering the bottom, followed by a layer of the beef mixture, and a layer of cheese. Repeat layers, ending with cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let it cool slightly before slicing. Serve with your choice of toppings such as sour cream, guacamole, or chopped cilantro.
